wot happened to Barloo? was too late to contact. Beggars belief this. Im incensed :mad::mad::mad:

I'll bet you are. Will you be able to contact them tomorrow, or are ou in work.

I may be wrong, It could be someone else, but I thought he had refinanced and he disputed the figures, but it may have been just the NCB he is disputing. I'm sure there are others on the site who refinanced with Picture, who will be able to help you.
I said I refinanced, but it wasn't with Picture.

I will see if I can find some past post for you.

    Bad News
Picture has managed somehow to rip me of again:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
    Rebate due upon cancellation
This is the amount you received back from picture upon refinancing your loan £8.279.41!!!!!
I never got a penny of this, The Robbing Bar stewards:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Really pleased you got your cheque:beer::beer:
I bet the £8K was taken off the loan balance when you refinanced and just balanced out interest you accrued and was never sent to you at all!!

I am sure i reaqd you only got a small rebate - 10% after year 1, 13% after year 2!!!!

Can anyone give me some guidance on how long their claim was back with the FSCS from deloiitee before they got a cheque or a letter or it returned to deloitte- I still can not believe me grumpy pants told me it would be at least a month:mad::mad:

Damn Damn Damn and bloody damn.

Just gone through figures and something didnt look right to me so I phoned FSCS and they say if I dont agree, I cant bank the cheque and I have to write in with chapter and verse.

So who knows how long it will be before that cash is my account.

I refinanced after a year with Picture to another Picture loan (glutton for punishment)

now on the calculations I have received today the FSCS have stated that I received an amount of 4990.60 rebate back from the Insurer for cancellation of this PPI policy. Well this is it, I never did or have receive anything.

Im wondering whether this was put onto the superceeding PPI policy that I took out, but if so why doesnt this figure or anything like it get a mention in or on any of the paperwork I had from Picture.

I THINK LOZZA 001 REFINANCED AND HE HAS BEEN PAID OUT. I WILL LOOK FOR THE POSTS

Morning everyone. Just wanted to let you know that my cheque arrived on Sat. I last called the FSCS on Thursday and I was told it was still with the assistant manager so I was very surprised when there was an FSCS env on the table when I came home on Sat evening. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    The calculations are as follows:

    Original PPI premium £14,970.00
    Interest £ 3,842.24
Less Rebate is canel £ 1,112.87
    Compensation £ 50.65
    Total £ 17,750.12
    Total Payable £16,375.11

Of course I am made up that the cheque has arrived but I can't help feel guilty when di, busbyh and others have been waiting for longer than I have... and it is only thanks to them that I even knew that making this claim was possible. :A Thank you SO much. xxx

It does sound like they done this doesn't it?
Surely with all the Picture claims they should have known that by now......how annoying, this means the cheque will have to be sent back, then more waiting while they recalulate to correct this.

I know they should do this, but it wouldnt be fair to wait a long time once again.........

Picture never send the customer the amount they refund of the first PPI after topping up, barloo did not have this figure only the amount paid to Picture from the top up, this figure would be what the first loan amount was minus the 8 grand PPI and then the rest is the new ppi and the top up amount = new loan amount.
