The guy at the FSCS said they received the claim back this morning from Deloittes they are actually dealing with it right now and if we receive nothing by next Wednesday is to ring them, before we said anything he said its priority !!:j:j:j
Originally he said it could take 2 weeks but they aim for us to receive everything by next Weds.:T:T

Looks like they are getting on with the remaining of them now.:T:T:T

Must have been in the same batch as ours di:j:j:j

Ok, in respect of the NCB being deducted I have reading the FSA handbook in depth now and have found this ;-

The FSCS must not treat any bonus provided for under a long-term insurance contract as part of the claimant's claim except to the extent that: (1) a value has been attributed to it by a court in accordance with the Insurers (Winding Up) Rules 2001 or any equivalent rules or legislative provision in force from time to time; or
    (2) the FSCS considers that a court would be likely to attribute a value to the bonus if it were to apply the method set out in those rules.2

I read that as big in our favour!!!

Any body else got an opinion. http://fsahandbook.info/FSA/html/handbook/COMP/12/4 is the link to handbook and if that get deleted its under COMP 12.4.

Great news Barloo, got to be in your favour:j:j have you quoted this to the FSCS

Spoke to a guy on the 020 number, not too long waiting either.

Hubby spoken to him, but we put the phone on loud speaker :D, he said "I am pleased to tell you that your claim arrived to us earlier this morning, this is being dealt with as we speak, and as your case is one of our priority cases, you should receive everything by next Weds the latest, if you do not please do get back to us and I will get on to our Manager".:j:j:beer::beer:

surely if claims have went back for re calculation it means success for us !

    It will be fine.:j:j
Sometimes its down to info gone out of date and deloittes just have to recalculate on it, as it may be also because by the time the FSCS deal with them after coming from deloittes they have left it too long, so it would mean to what I know of that more is possibly owed as from the time Picture went into default.
Do you know what I mean?:D:j:j

Ours went back to Deloitte sandzb but they never told us why. I am hoping it was for recalculation which would seem to indicate a successful claim.

Hi Chickpee, just posted a post on the above post about this, hope this helps and think it may be the reason why.;)
