Just thought I would let you all know been on to FSCS about interest and no we definatly dont get it. He wouldnt give me a reason why :mad::mad::mad: He mentioned a discretionary fund but that depends on how long you have waited for the result, but I wouldnt hold much hope out on that either. basically we get back the PPI only. He didnt say wether this would be paid in full or not or just what we had paid. the most annoying thing though is that he said it is likely to take the full six months to complete, even the priority ones, so we are looking at the end of the year:mad::mad::mad: sorry for being the bearer of bad news. So annoyed.:mad::mad::mad:

I'd loved to know how it can take that long and does that mean all 600 cases will miraculously be finished at the same time!

Thats a really good point Pinknico, but he did make the point of saying, again they have six months to sort it after default. I got the definate inpression that it would take that long because the fist thing he told me was about the six months thing. I said is it going to take that long and he said it was very likely but it could be sooner. As far as priority ones go he seemed to think it would not make a lot of difference. It makes me wonder if they will sort them all and then let us all know together, I hope i am not right but the thing is we get told so many different things you dont know who to beleive any more. Like you I dont know haow it can take that long they have had for over a year. I know if we have to wait another 4 months it mu=ight be too late:mad::mad::mad:

My complaint has been against picture for nearly 3 years... I kinda hoped they might be able to just get it sorted once they were declared in default!

The facebook group I started has seen a huge number of new members! (one... :rotfl:) but it seems you guys can't find it. If you search for PPI you should stumble accross it. I can't seem to post links atm...

Halpin I have put PPI and its come up with hundreds under common intersts student groups geography which one is it under? I think I have found it is it get me my PPI?

it's called "The great Picture PPI mis-selling scandal" and is under "Common Interest - Beliefs & Causes" (couldn't think where else to put it!)

Let me know if you still can't find it (it is my first Facebook group and I've probably done something wrong!)

I have e mailed it to the sun newspaper today and will post the letter out recorded delivery tomorrow as I want to make sure it gets there. I will not post to any other newspapers until you have amended it accordingly.
