Hope you are right marshallka, that would be FANTASTIC for di:D
Fantastic for Di but not so much for the companies that pay into the FSCS (as dunstonh says... the good companies pay for the bad ones:confused:)....

I have mixed feelings on this one as I feel that the FSCS does not have a clue how to redress any PPI....I feel that they are not aware of how PPI works at all and they have probably never had the misfortune to have a single premium in their lives. They need some more guidance I think..:confused:

    EMAIL REPLY FROM DELOITTE

I just asked if the info had been sent across and this was the reply. I replied to this and explained thst although it wasn't our paperwork, the original only showed the amount of PPi exc interest. But the copy shpwed PPI amount plus interest, therefore it is obvious Picture have had to amend their paperwork to show the extra, very important information!!

Unfortunately they haven't therefore I've put in another request for clarification this afternoon.

Last week I took the opportunity to look through the paperwork that you sent in with your application form and I have noticed that the info sent to you by Picture at the time when you requested duplicate paperwork, was not relevant to yourselves but to a totally different customer hence why the figures didn't tally with what they originally gave you!!
Even though this will form part of my investigation, rest assured that this will not affect any potential compensation due to you.

I will let you know once the info is in and I am able to start working your case but please give it a little more time.

    Regards,

AT LEAST i KNOW HE HAS BEEN LOOKING THROUGH THE PAPERWORK AS I WAS AWARE OF THE DIFFERENCE IN THE COPIES. HE WOULD HAVE HAD TO READ THEM CAREFULLY TO SPOT THE NAMES. THEREFORE KNOW HE HAS BEEN LOOKING THROUGH EVERYTHING IN DETAIL

BUT STILL THE WAIT GOES ON!!!

DON'T like the sound of "start working your case" could take forever!!!!

I agree Marshallka and now getting worried.

Hubby got through, and as much as telling her again and again, she did not go through any details but said "she is stating she must still have the details from C&G.......he said "but Nemo refinanced on that one" she said it makes no difference, then hubby said "but C&G will not have those details, only the ones of Nemo and that is sorted as shown in our paperwork", she just said "I still require them"......., I feel quite sick of this to be honest, and going to contact the FSCS on this now, because even though the letter/attachment is sent from Deloittes its headed on behalf of the FSCS.
