Thanks for the welcome - I probably won't post as much as you guys, but I will keep any developments updated - good or bad. The FSCS have no idea how much stress we have had not knowing what is going on.

    With pleasure.:A
Well we are here most of the time lol :D.
Hope you hear something soon, and your right, it is very stressful, and so agonising.

Hello all - 1st post on here - have followed Bob across from the CAG forum. Checked with Deloittes today and our claim has now gone back to FSCS. Rang FSCS and got the usual response of we will notify you in writing in due course. Hopefully we are a bit closer now to some closure to this.

Sounds very promising old-wulf, good luck and keep us posted, Oh and welcome to the site:beer:

Regarding Honey2's poor mate, where her case got rejected, was it rejected by deloittes or the FSCS does anyone know?, if with the FSCS, wonder how long it had taken for her to receive her letter, as it was rejected?

I think she is appealing her's now isn't she? Wishing her luck with her appeal.;)

Just wondered if they send letters out quicker if rejected, than those of the successful ones.

It will take me forever looking back on posts to check this, my puter is playing up again tonight - damn thing lol.

I was thinking Deloitte may already have heard from Target before the end of the day, as they are obviously determined to get on with as many claims as possible, so hopefully Target got back to them, via fax/email with the details they required, and with a bit of luck as well, Deloittes would have already faxed your daughter's case back through to the FSCS.

It may be a good idea for your son in law to check on this again tomorrow as well, fingers crossed hun.

    Hi hun, hope your well.;)

    Annoying isn't it?

I hear they are taking on temps, but it will be very slow, they could tell us by email the decision, just to ease our minds, but maybe its just their policy not to.

Some news on the Royal Mail website here:

thanks di. Hopefully they have. The deloitte chap did convince him it didin't mean if would affect the decision on the claim, and not to worry. But we all know how long it can take Target to get back, they never appear to be in any rush,
I just cant understand where the discrepancy has come from as we sent them a detailed statement, payments and interest rom start of loan up until Aug 09. The loan was paid off early November, therefore they would not have much more to work out.
He did say they were initially given one figure and on calculation this didn't work out, this being the reason they are requesting it again!!!!!!
