Hi all I have just rung deloitte again and got a very nice american woman, again I was told she didnt know how long it would be as they were awaiting information from third parties but how case was being worked on. I just cant understand why after a year they are only now requesting information from third parties. it is getting totally ridiculous now. And who are these third parties, I presume if it is Picture they are not going to rush things are they?:mad:0

I contacted Picture today about the default notice they sent me despite me making a repayment arrangement with them, They said it was procedure, so you were right dialysis!!;)
They told me to stick to the arrangement but the strange thing is that they would not re set my direct debit and asked if I could pay them by debit card !!! I agreed and they told me that they would be able to set the direct debit up after November. Just thought this was a bit odd !! It also made me wonder if they are aware that my loan would be restructured in November. Just a thought
Some advice for anyone that has a direct debit with Picture or Target or whatever they want to call themselves now.
Cancel the direct debit and set up a standing order instead. The reason for doing this is very simple:
Direct Debit - They take the money from your account hence they are in control.:(
Standing Order - You Pay them hence you are in control.:D
Beleive me when I say this is a big difference! It means that they can't suddenly change the date or amount of your payment and makes budgeting a lot easier....It puts the power back in your hands where it should be.
I have cancelled every Direct Debit I have and changed to Standing order as I was fed up with admin errors and changes to payments.

Hello Gumbi, do I have to ring them to get the details for a standing order?DS1 12/10/04

Hello Gumbi, do I have to ring them to get the details for a standing order?
Whilst I appreciate what you say Gumbi about being in control. It also works the other way. Direct Debit is supposed to have a guarentee that you can claim back ANY payment automatically should a mistake have been made (never done it myself, but it actually says that on the mandate in the small print) and as far as I know you cant get this with SO. Also alot of financial providers make a charge (surprise surprise!!) for paying by SO and a discount for DD. I know that Northern Rock charged me last year £30 for making my mortgage payments via SO rather than their preferred DD method.
So make sure people read the T & C before cancelling those DD'sIf you see a penny, pick it up, all day long you'll have good luck !!!!!!0 -
Hi all
I have just spoken to a very nice man in Deloittes. He tells me the first batch has been sent to Target for the info ie. interest rates, rebates received , payments made etc. I asked if he thought they where dragging their feet and he didn't seem to think so. Said they are hoping to hear from them fairly soon and then they can get on with sorting the claims, how much etc.
He said they are definately being looking at in date order. told him ours was received 12th Sept and he said that was early in relation to some of them they have received.
I asked him if ours was in the first batch but he would not confirm this only to say ours was one of the early ones to be received.
I think their hands are tied in as much info they can give, but he did sound quite positive about the info from the first batch being received soon.
Fingers crossed:D;)
I din't get the impresssion it would be too long (forever the optimist) It does sound to me as things are finally moving. I was starting to feel quite low again t the weekend. It is annoying when we know we have to wait until Monday on the off chance we will hear somethingdialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0
