I contacted Picture today about the default notice they sent me despite me making a repayment arrangement with them, They said it was procedure, so you were right dialysis!!;)
They told me to stick to the arrangement but the strange thing is that they would not re set my direct debit and asked if I could pay them by debit card !!! I agreed and they told me that they would be able to set the direct debit up after November. Just thought this was a bit odd !!:rolleyes: It also made me wonder if they are aware that my loan would be restructured in November. Just a thought :rolleyes:

Hi Beaniebabe, they wouldnt let me add to my direct debit either and are quite happy for me to pay a bit at a time when I can.
They also seemed aware of the FSCS investigation into PPI mis selling as before I mentioned this they wouldnt let me change my direct debit date. So they must be gearing up for a few (hundred:D) recalculated loans.
Glad the letter was just standard, shame you had to worry all weekend.

Hi dialysis. I think as you and beaniebabe have not had a letter and you are both priority that they are dealing with yours now.
Mine was received by the FSCS around the 18th of August 2008, I should think the reference number only comes in to play if loads were received on the same day.

Thanks Pinknico that sounds logical doesnt it I think we are the only ones who havent heard anything yet so hopefully thats why.

I did worry over the weekend but the help on this thread made me look at things more positively;) As soon as I got up this morning I was on the phone to them and it seemed I had little to worry about. Thank God!
When I called Picture it seemed like there was only a couple of people answering the phones and they introduced themselves by name not the company. It all seemed a little odd:eek:
I just can not wait now to hear some good news. I think we have all waited long enough. I don't want to spend the cash on stupid things I now only want to get Picture off my back!! X

I think this is maybe because the books are now closed for any future loans and they are just there to deal with existing customers.
It soes say on Picture/Target website, no further loans available
