Companies in Default/FSCS Claims - Picture, London Scottish, Twopart

I guess they need to know whether payments have been made for the no claims bonuses, when and if policies have been cancelled etc as I should think that will all affect the payment calculations.
The thing that really annoys me is that we won't be put in the same position as if the ppi was never taken out because the FSCS don't repay 100% of the compensation. Don't get me wrong I still appreciate they are there to help us all but we would have been in a better place financially if Picture weren't in default and the FOS were still dealing with our cases.
I'm glad to hear you are a priority Dialysis - Fingers crossed the wait won't be too long now
I agree chickpee, would love to know why 90% after the first £2000 ,why not the full amount. I suppose at least there is no limit to the amount they payout.DS1 12/10/04

Some good news for you then Dialysis. The only thing that still puzzles me is "depending on the insurers" surely the only thing the insurers can say is how much Picture paid them for the policy and what was in the policy?
Hi pinknico
Maybe they need to know if any rebate was paid back from the insurers. Wasn't there something in the policy where you got back a certain % after 36 months and so on, until you get half of the premiums back (or supposedly) if a claim had not been made. It could be to just verify that no claims have been made against the policy.dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -
Good morning all I have got through to deloitte this morning whoa!!! and a very nice lady told me that our claim is being worked on at the moment as we are a priority but she couldnt give me a timescale as it depended on insurers etc. I presume this means they have to get more info from picture I dont know why when they have had the claim for a year:mad: but at least it is being worked on so a bit of good news.
Hope it won't be too long for you now:beer:dialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -

Yes that is what the lady said when I rang her, which bodes well that they are looking into calculations.xxDS1 12/10/04
