    Hi amersall
So sorry to hear about your job, this is what happened with hubbys just days before xmas, he was working for the steel plant for a good few years and they thrown all the steel workers out the door, approx 3 days before xmas, about 400 of them without any notice at all.......so know how it feels for you hun, its so heartbreaking.

Hubby and the rest of the workers had no redundancy pay either, everything was claimed from the solvency office, where they pay out in dribs and drabs.

So annoying for you hunni and with xmas on its way again......

On a brighter note though amersall the steel plant have been bought by the Russians and hubby will be returning back to them as soon as they re open, after some major works and updates to the plant, which is still currently ongoing, thanks for asking.;)

Fingers crossed for you amersall, thinking of you hunni.:AXXXX

    Thank you Di.:A

Its a waiting game with this though as well, the manager is still the manager, even though the plant closed down he had to stay back with the administrators until a new buyer came in, and he is there to stay anyway, he rang my hubby not so long back and asked hubby if he would like to return when re-opened, of course hubby jumped to it, although he will still have to have a formal interview again, but that is fine.

It used to be run by the Greeks.;)

Well you know you always have us here for you.;)

Yeah how bad that is amersall, this again brings back memories, hubby worked 12 hour shifts and rarely had a day off, always worked that extra, a lot of money went down the drain there, its not nice is it?.

At least now things are starting to look up.

Sending my love to you amersall.;)Xxx

    Yes thank goodness.
Although they are not rushing to open back up, but the plant was in a right mess to what I know of, a new roof here and there needed as well.

Will be nice if it were before xmas.;)

It's just a matter of time now, so fingers crossed it will be soon.

Have they said how long then cause i remember you said about a roof etc some time ago? Is that the same one that needed the roof on or the one that he had the interview for? I am getting confused now? All that matters is he has a job now so a wage coming in at last. That is a huge relief i bet.
