Hello dialysis, good to hear your claim should soon be heading to the FSCS.
Also pleased to hear that once the FSCS have the claim it is straight forward.
My first week of waiting is almost up!
I admit when I aw how many posts there were are thought there had been more good news for someone.DS1 12/10/04

Just spoken to the Ombudsman about mine and its now going to be months rather than weeks but probably within a year but cannot say that either. At the moment they are looking towards making underwriters responsible for the misselling of insurance and my rebate complaint is caught up in that lot. There are loads of cases like this apparently and I am now told as of "yet" the Ombudsman Service DOES NOT have any jurisdiction over them. This means another "be patient" i guess. Its been over 12 months now since it was thrown out against FP but they wrote on my behalf straight after to the insurer. Its a long hard battle but my arguments and things that I quoted are at least being heard and that is all I want.
Looks like I will be around a lot longer than anticipated. At least he did tell me that there is no chance of being done before christmas or even close to after christmas so I do KNOW now. I hope this is all going to be worth it in the end.

OMG Marshallka, sorry to hear that......hope they can get round to actually taking the insurers into account with this now.
Just left you a post on the ppi discussion thread as well, as missed this one then.
I certainly hope this is going to be worth the wait in the end as well, very frustrating!!!The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
