At least we now know that we will get the cheque and letter together, no warning by the sounds of it. And once the fscs have the paperwork it is pretty straight forward to issue the cheques. I think reading between the lines I should hear next week or the week after, please god lol, I am pretty sure we will win on this and get a cheque so now I think I can inorm my creditors that I am expecting a cheque in a couple of weeks. Please tell me if I am jumping the gun on this.
I'm sure you will win on this one dialysis. amd hopefully your cheque will arrive next week. Hope we hear some good news from Honey on Saturday:D:D

Just spoken to the Ombudsman about mine and its now going to be months rather than weeks but probably within a year but cannot say that either. At the moment they are looking towards making underwriters responsible for the misselling of insurance and my rebate complaint is caught up in that lot. There are loads of cases like this apparently and I am now told as of "yet" the Ombudsman Service DOES NOT have any jurisdiction over them. This means another "be patient" i guess. Its been over 12 months now since it was thrown out against FP but they wrote on my behalf straight after to the insurer. Its a long hard battle but my arguments and things that I quoted are at least being heard and that is all I want.

Looks like I will be around a lot longer than anticipated. At least he did tell me that there is no chance of being done before christmas or even close to after christmas so I do KNOW now. I hope this is all going to be worth it in the end.

SOrry picturites for using your thread for a vent:o
You can vent on here anytime marshallka. I am so sorry that your news was not good It will be worth it in the end it is so annoying when you have to wait that long hun.

Hello dialysis, good to hear your claim should soon be heading to the FSCS.
Also pleased to hear that once the FSCS have the claim it is straight forward.
My first week of waiting is almost up!

I admit when I aw how many posts there were are thought there had been more good news for someone.
thanks Pinknico one step closer and although I have been hear before I am quite optimistic that I will hear next week. Were you told two weeks also, I know one week is up so if you were you should also hear next week.:T:T

    Hi marshallka
Sorry to hear this. D you think you will be able to hold out this long!!!!!!!
    It's sickening for you.
I've held out this long so won't hurt a bit longer (even a year, longer maybe) BUT I shall be annoyed if this is the case and then they say "we cannot do anything". Its just the not knowing and jurisdiction issues that I have campaigned for this long. If you could take the lenders and insurers through the courts and win if the broker is unregulated then surely the FSA should widen their jurisdictions for FOS to do the same. There must be some arguments they can put through from certain laws..... Just have to be patient now and hope!!!

Is there anyone else expected to hear next week? I have been going over what I was told today and this will apply to all of us that once it goes to the FSCS which will take a couple of days to get from deloitte it then will probalby take a further few days. I am trying to work out if it went tomorrow they should get it monday or tuesday. Then if it has to go to various departments it will take another couple of days, thats my estimate. May be here by end of week, Thats just my estimate though. :T:T

    Hi amersall
So sorry to hear about your job, this is what happened with hubbys just days before xmas, he was working for the steel plant for a good few years and they thrown all the steel workers out the door, approx 3 days before xmas, about 400 of them without any notice at all.......so know how it feels for you hun, its so heartbreaking.

Hubby and the rest of the workers had no redundancy pay either, everything was claimed from the solvency office, where they pay out in dribs and drabs.

So annoying for you hunni and with xmas on its way again......

On a brighter note though amersall the steel plant have been bought by the Russians and hubby will be returning back to them as soon as they re open, after some major works and updates to the plant, which is still currently ongoing, thanks for asking.;)

Fingers crossed for you amersall, thinking of you hunni.:AXXXX
