Just got back in from work and had to check my e-mails to see if I had a reply from fscs. I did have a reply and this is what it said.

does this make sense? right -before you can claim redundancy on insurance you have to be out of work for a period of time, if your husband is just being made redundant now, then i would think this form is being sent to you in readiness for when you can claim. am i right in thinking that with picture, you will be paid out mis sell but the ins wont be cancelled? if i am right and i am sure that i read that on this thread previously- then you may get the cheque from fscs and when the time is right you can make a claim on the ins?if you can then the ins will pay your loan for a time. i hope i am right with this, if i am not then i am sure someone will put me right
I think we are all confused on this one amersall
Yes, you do have to be out of work for a period of time , I think.
I cannot see how it is possible to win a missell for the Insurance, be paid out and then still be covered. But going by what the FSCS said to Honey2, that appears to be the case, unless the person who told her has got it wrong!! Which, let's face it, going by what they have been telling us lately, would we be surprised if they were giving us misleading info.
If you have been refunded the PPI back, how can we still have cover - beats me. We were discussing this for about 2 hours tonight.I just can't see this happening!!!!!!!
THE REASON FOR THE COMPENSATION IS TO PUT US BACK TO THE SAME POSITION AS WE WOULD HAVE BEEN WITHOUT THE PPI - THAT IS NO INSURANCE COVER WITH THEMdialysis,mammamia,honey.beaniebabe,saltyfish,funky,Gumbi,Lian,doogle,oldwulf,pinknico,Halpin,alyson,Barloo,jadone,demir,netabc,chickpee,dannyboy,tomgaskel,Lozza001,sandzb,di,marshallka,pengi,lynnie,busbyh,moggy,Kim66,honestbob,tobione,itdonk,arrongborne,thunders,newtonchang,mbones,showergirl, coffeetower,hayston,sappy,dolallytap,AuntieDeedee0 -
