No dont apologise, I am arghhh at them messing you about!

When I said the policy is cancelled. If the fscs say we have successful claims then Picture cancel the insurance. Even if you dont pay anything off it, as we would have received the money.

Whether you told Picture or not would not make any difference, as I am sure they would have been made aware you had submitted a claim ,when FSCS or Deloitte requested the info from them.

Deloitte will have been liasing with Picture and maybe Picture have put a notation on the account thinking you were making a claim against the policy, this could have caused some confusion and the reason your are being told, you claim will be invalid if you do claim:confused:

Yep you are right - they will liase with each other. I hope it is letter and cheque will come and my claim will be upheld and then there will be no claim on the policy for redundancy as the policy will be no more due to being compensated - perhaps the lady at FSCS was trying to say don;t make any claim till you receive our letter and cheque - I THINK!!!

When I called the FSCS today I said to the lady that although I have received an e-mail advising I will receive a letter in 2 weeks or sooner from the FSCS - due to the redundancy that will be happening this month what should I do, as Picture have told me to obtain a claim form from the insurance company. She then told me that I would be sent on Friday of this week everything I need. Once I received the letter from the FSCS if I wished to contact Picture Insurance and made a claim for redundancy then I could do so.

Quite agree busbyh. I think then this could be the cheque and that they want you not to claim on insurance as you will not need to.

    Roll on Monday!

Sorry you are having to go through this Honey 2, is anyone going to have a straightforward claim?

That what I kind of think - to be honest this money (if it comes) is not going to help me much but it will help my OH and family loads.
