Just an update folks!!
I rang my nice man at FSCS today. He apologised for not getting back to me on Friday but said he was on leave. He informed me that the FSCS received my claim back from Deloittes on Friday and it is now waiting for a manager from FSCS to check it :T
I asked if my claim had been successful and he said he could not say but if it was not successful then it would not have been passed back to the fscs and Deloittes would have wrote informing us of such by now.
I asked how long it would take now and he was reluctant to give me a time scale although he did ask me to call back in two weeks time if I had not heard anything by then :j
I think this looks like good news and it seemed to me like the nice man couldn,t give too much away and expected me to read between the lines:D

Was it honey2's friend, I must say, I have never had anybody who was that bad, and never rude. In fact, although most of them haven't given much away, I have had the odd one or two who were extremely helpful. One was a lady a spoke to way back, she was really nice

It was Honey2's friend, post 95 on other thread. I am really surprised that the person was that abrupt with her, maybe the friend has exaggerated somewhat!!!!!!

That sounds really positive Beaniebabe, hope the bit about only going back to the FSCS if there is a claim is correct, does your nice man have a name (pm me!)

Looking really good for you now. Their hands are tied in as much as they can say. He was telling you in a round about way that you are ok. Also he would be in trouble if he did give yu a timescale and for some reasn they could not adhere to this.
