meanmarie, if I remember correctly you go to a very beautiful part of Sardinia that is nowhere near the part of Sardinia that I visited. I envy you as I love Italy, my favourite European country. Would you care to swap with me? I'll go to Sardinia and you can sit in my office and do my thankless job?? Had to ask.

Hi guys,

belated happy birthday to you catznine. I hope you had a good day.

Busy, busy, busy here today! Dragged the kids out to the bank to draw some cash for my young man on Monday , done a Lidl, mowed the lawn, strimmed it, weeded and watered all the beds, washed and dried 3 loads, - lovely drying day - spring cleaned the back room, swish and swiped and hoovered through, fed us all healthy meals, played referee and chief helper on and off all day, showered the kids etc, etc,. LOL I have been feeling a bit down because the kitchen is not progressing as fast as it could and today I have sat and listed why I haven't got on to the glossing :rolleyes:. Sigh!! I sometimes really miss the pre-children days where I could start a job and just get on with it.

Anyway enough of that, Tomorrow/today! I am going to prep and start the glossing - cough!, redo the sealant in the kitchen as it is rotten (any tips on how to get the old stuff off would be much appreciated) and scrub the floor in there. (just remembered I also scrubbed the 2 rugs from in there today and dried them)

Lunch will be baked pots and beans and I will prep a curry and sling it in the SC tomorrow for tea.
