  • There's also a DAB buyers guide at dab-radios.co.uk

I pesonally bought a cheapy won from Asda. It's ok but should really have spent another £30 and got a Pure Digital one from Amazon.

I have upgraded, and it seems to work fine.

The EPG is a bit slow to load a whole weeks programs, but it works, and I am happy with it :)

Just as an update to the original post which said it is now available from Hughes Direct - if you are a member of Which and you log in to the Which Extra web site, there is a link to Hughes Direct under the "Member Benefits" menu, you can get the radio for £72.74 (excluding postage). It's only a small saving but every little helps :-)

I was in House of Fraser yesterday and they had the white Bug for £79.99. EVen better was that there was 10 per cent off all electicals (I think the offer ends today or tomorrow) so I got it for £71.50 (yes, I know that's more than 10 per cent off!).

    Very happy bunny!

Hi all. I haven`t got one of these (yet) but can you choose what song/track that is used as the alarm and how easy is it to change on a regular basis.
Is there a file specifically for the alarm that you just add or remove from?

Now £59 inc vat from Morgan Computers (refurb but I can't tell; graphite only; 1y warranty).

    Link here for those interested....

Total £70.49 inc VAT & Shipping...but can't see where it says it is refurbished... it says Manufacturer Grade A stock. Looks a good deal to me! Though I thought Pure warranties were normally 2 years.

My warranty is for 1y. They have them in store for those near a branch, the shipping is rather pricey. It seems just like a new unit.
