I love my Bug but that middle button is very annoying! Unless you press it 'just right' when trying to turn the Bug on/off, you end up increasing/decreasing volume or changing to a different radio station!

Not just me then! It seems to be a general problem with those 5-way buttons - my phone is the same.

Incidentally, why is it that *all* clock radios have a minimum backlight setting that would blind an owl? I want the clock to be *just* visible, not light the room up.

Those are my only two grips tho, this is a fantastic radio.

Well mine only has a very dim glow, and is only just bright enough to read, so I guess yours is not set correctly.

Hi all. I haven`t got one of these (yet) but can you choose what song/track that is used as the alarm and how easy is it to change on a regular basis.
Is there a file specifically for the alarm that you just add or remove from?

    vertical

Yes, you can select any MP3 file from SD card to play as an alarm

There's a Marketplace seller on ebay selling the refurbished graphite ones for £59.99 (£63.99 inclu postage). Amazon supposedly provide a lot of protecton to buyers from marketplace sellers (unlike our beloved ebay). I've ordered one I'll update when it arrives.

Total £70.49 inc VAT & Shipping...but can't see where it says it is refurbished... it says Manufacturer Grade A stock. Looks a good deal to me! Though I thought Pure warranties were normally 2 years.

Picked mine up from the Birmingham store this lunchtime. £58.74 seems like a great price to me!

    Thanks OP and Searcher2!!

Got mine new from Amazon. USB cable not included.

It's not like you need the cable for it to work.

If you want to upgrade the firmware, then use your printer or scanner USB cable.
