lol, you know you want to....:D

I was just wondering wether it would be easily knocked over, as I was planning to have it in the kitchen

Just over 3lbs say my scales (which are a bit rubbish tbh).. it's too heavy to just knock over unless you're severely heavy handed!

Hi Bug fans. Just got mine today and using it now. _party_

First Impressions. I love it :D

    Very Impressed.

It gets more stations than my old Maplins DAB radio I got 2 years ago. :)

It looks better in real life than in the pictures, and the display is very clear and easy to read. :)
I have not even had to read the instructions yet, as I find it very easy to use and have even set my first alarm.

Sound quality is very good for a clock radio and better than I expected. It does not distort, even on full volume, and is more than loud enough for a bedroom or kitchen. I have it with me in living room athe moment.

I am very happy with The Bug

(I will have a go at updating the software later)

Not all local radio stations are on DAB unfortunately. If you don't see yours when you scroll up and down the channels then it is probably not on DAB yet.

Check out this link to see what is available in your area.

Also lots of help on the official Pure website

    ;)

I have managed to update the software to the EPG version, but unless you listen to some BBC Radio stations you are not going to see anything much, so it is not a must have thing.

    Hiya Bug-Friend

Just had a look at the first link and the station I am wanting is listed  so why doesn't my radio know about it? I guess it has to be 'tuned in' ? flipping eckk.. more technie nightmare situations in store for me then! :D

No but seriously, I think I need time to bond with him.

Have you switched him off yet? dontcha just love the way he goes to sleep? awwwwww... he's a babe!! :heartpuls :kisses: :heartsmil :heart2:

I'm beta testing version 2.0 and it is so much better than 1.2 and 1.3 beta 50. The EPG is much easier to navigate and you can record the buffer again.

I think recording 1 minute of radio equals 1mb.

    Hey Ms Bug

If the radio station on that Site has the little blue DAB symbol below it, then it should be on DAB. But if it only says AM or FM in yellow then it is not on DAB.

Taking my Bug to bed with me tonight. :kisses:

    The eyes are fun :cheesy:

After all the positive comments I went and ordered one too!

Just checking the DHL tracking system though, it looks like my little Bug left Milton Keynes yesterday, went up to the Hams Hall distribution centre last night and arrived back down to the local depot in London at 07:15 today. Now, normally the next stage would be "out for delivery", but instead it says "security check". Has anyone else had this in their tracking history? Should I be worried? What are they doing to my poor defenceless Bug?
