Yay spent some money today, a whole £6.78 on fruit & veg... do you reckon that will re-ignite the economy :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Well that's the thing, I do see my friends quite often but we rarely go to the pub or have meals out. I'm not complete social outcast you know lol0 -

Well I am - count it as a compliment0 -
Well I never said I wasn't a bit :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Spent some "free" money today... had £45 in amazon vouchers, got the last of my Xmas pressies and a few bits n bobs for me0 -

That is mighty impressive! I currently have presents for my Mum and Brother (eight more folk to buy for)0 -
I just hate going anywhere near the shops around Xmas time, drives me nuts lol so I always make sure I've got everything long before then
Today's spending:
pair of jeans £10
cat food & litter £19.15
food for me £15.850 -
Expensive little blighters these cats aren't they?! Oh, but we love them!
Completely off track now I am looking out the window and the sky here is absolutely amazing - gorgeous orangey cololured clouds all over th eplace - like flames - I have never seen anything like it, I really should go and get thee camera and take a photo.0 -
Aren't they just lol. Thinking of altering the litter strategy... instead of buying the decent stuff which works out at around £13 a month and completely emptying the tray every 4 days, I can get the really cheap one and change it every other day instead... would save about £5, downside is having to carry (and I'm sure it won't be the lightweight variety lol) & stock twice as many bags of the stuff. I'm lucky that the cat aren't fussy about what litter I use so might give it a go for a few months..
Did you take any pictures in the end?0 -
Any chance you could get bulk delivery from a wholesaler, cash and carry, or maybe even a local supermarket? That said, they can be funny about delivering lots of heavy goods. I'm glad you can't tell the difference - I have a fairly powerful sense of smell (useful gift for a chef wannabe) - but I always found that the cheaper, 'gritty' stuff left my flat reeking of cat pee0

Well I'll try it for a bit and see how it goes... I've just taken advantage of the Sainsbury's £10 cashback on quidco and ordered next month's stock of food for the furry things as well as a couple of bags of cheap litter and some cupboard stuff for me. Grand total was £43.80 including delivery. As for the smell, why do you think I'll be changing the lot every other day :rotfl: plus I usually sprinkle some bicarb in the trays every day, works pretty well.0
