Ooh yes, too small is horrible. I hope that training meeting is on, sounds like you'd really like to be in top gear and you're rubbing along in third... oh wait, thats me!

Hello! It's Spring! And I've slept well two nights in a row!

The meeting happened yesterday, it was really good and feeling very optimistic about it - just have to broach the subject with my own managers which could be interesting, but it's nice to feel like I can offer something else and people actually want me to do it! As for normal work.. aaaaaargh!

Got my payslip yesterday too - with payrise and back pay got about £100 extra this month.

Mr Squizz got a massive gas bill.. he had an estimated bill for Aug-Dec and they'd really underestimated, but by the time he sent the reading in it was too late so it was added onto this bill. It's worked out over £400 for six months - that's quite a lot isn't it? Mind you the heating and all the cooking is gas... I offered to give him something towards it but he refused. He wants to swap suppliers but he's not had an electricity bill since he moved in!

Got his sister and family visiting at the weekend - we are babysitting on Saturday night while they go to a Uni reunion - should be fun!

I wouldn't worry too much about the gas bill, Squizz - it was the coldest winter for 30 years, and I always hear the average fuel bill as being about £1000 a year. Mr Squizz's house is smaller than average, so he might be a little high, but not much - is there any insulation/double glazing he needs?

It's all double-glazed, there are a few draughts so I might need to make a few more draught exluders!

I don't think £400 for 6 months and over the winter is bad if that include cooking too. I think mine probably came to £300 ish
