Just been reading that blog. Its really interesting, you're right.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

I am shocked you would think such a thing :A.. as if I would wear myself out like that before a 16 mile run :rotfl:
I would love to be self-sufficient right now - work is truly rubbish at the moment. I feel totally demotivated despite having loads to do. Never mind, going to apply for that job I saw the other day (still going to go for the extra stuff here as well though).
Just got the Kilomathon newsletter - 3 weeks to go :eek:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
ahhhhhhhhhhhh 3 weeks, you will be absolutely fantastic. Have you set yourself a time that you would like to get around in?I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

I'll be happy with anything under 3 hours really.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

I've no idea if its doable for you
but you sound *really* fit :beer: if you think you can do it, then its as good as done (erm, apart from actually doing it
)

Well I did the 16 miles in 2 hr 55 mins last weekend so it should be doable, does depend a bit on the course, how crowded it is, energy levels on the day, etc, etc... I still don't really think of myself as fit although I suppose I must be.. it just doesn't equate with my mental image of myself, weird eh? I am pretty slow in runner terms though!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Z would have wise words to say about that! I, however, am obsessing about getting my next cup of coffee, before I have a much-needed chat on the phone to my business partner - so I'll just say, of course you're fit! Running 16 miles! Slow has nothing to do with it, you're great!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

I am always on the River cottage site... i love all the progs. Wishes and dreams eh?
Any running sounds good to me:D:ABlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Hmm yeah, I'm not sure I'd want to be totally out in the wilds but on the edge of the city with more space would be great. In the meantime though the veg patches will do!
I've been trying to think about why I don't see myself as fit and it doesn't make sense - but.. I don't always (often) feel full of energy - although more than I used to.. I am not well co-ordinated - don't ask me to catch a ball! .. but then I know people who are out of breath walking up the stairs at work and drive everywhere.. so I guess I am fit.. maybe I should realise that! *have confused myself there* :rotfl:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
