  • This had better be a quickie as I've got loads to do although I can't seem to get going.

Work - as above - aaargh!

Weekend - Sat morning, woke up really tired after a rubbish sleep, fell of kitchen worktop, broke cupboard, annoyed Mr Squizz (don't ask!).. did 16 mile run :D Made up with Mr Squizz, watched some good films. Sunday - did some gardening, messing about with compost heap, nice :D Got lots of supermarket bargains... Funny thing - we didn't even discuss Valentines Day but neither of us did anything for it, which suits me! Besides, we potted out coriander seedlings together, I hand washed his wool socks and he made bread and rice pudding, and he still erm, appreciates me even when I have put on the first pair of knickers I've grabbed which happen to be the scruffiest baggiest pair I own :rotfl:

Awwwwww! Well, that has to be the nicest Valentine's Day compliment ever! You're lucky that *neither* of you did anything, tho coriander seedlings together is also a big thing... (I was going to type Valentine's Day intials to be quick, and then realised what it would look like, oops).

Have a good day today too

  • If all the coriander grows it will be a big thing - a big blooming field full of coriander! :rotfl:

In other news - I have broken into the clothes budget - £8.40 for a pair of work trousers reduced from £40 - find it really hard to find nice trousers that fit so they will definitely get worn.

And we're getting a payrise.. it will equate to about an extra tenner a month!

Sounds like a lovely weekend :eek to breaking into the clothes budget ;) I can feel my breaking point will be soon as DD needs some trainers and has started to outgrow some of her school uniform :(

My budget is for all of us for this year Squizz....I think its totally doable although I did say that I wasn't going to include school uniform in that but I am going to try now. I don't really NEED any summer clothes, B has plenty but will need sandals/trainers and OH might need a few t-shirts but that will be it

I've never been into Ethel Austin, there is one here but... anyway I don't need anything else at the moment!

Not a great deal to report here - work is aaargh and totally tiring me out this week. Have seen an interesting looking job I might apply for.

Seedlings are sprouting well.. supermarket bargains are continuing to fill the freezer.. and we have found cheap train tickets to visit Mr S's family at Easter.

    Think that's about it!

I cant believe that no-one has asked HOW or WHY you were in a position to fall off of the kitchen worktop and break the cupboard?

Or is that a private matter?:D
    :D:D stay wonky :D:D
