I cant believe that no-one has asked HOW or WHY you were in a position to fall off of the kitchen worktop and break the cupboard?
Or is that a private matter?:D
Well I did say 'don't ask'I had climbed up on the worktop to get some Kendal Mint Cake out of the cupboard which I couldn't reach from ground level
Tis still a bit of a touchy subject, Mr S tried to put the door back on the other night and declared that it 'couldn't be fixed' (I'm sure it can...)

Well i did think about it- but thought best not to, with the way my brain works:D:rotfl:
Hope it can be fixed Squizz.:)Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -

...and you think that by making it sound as implausible as 'reaching for some Kendal Mint Cake' we should believe you?
The words 'dont ask' are as a red rag to a bull around here.:D:D stay wonky

It's true! I needed it to get through my long run. I think if it had been damaged through other actions Mr S might not be so huffy about it!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Me too! We were discussing last night whether I could take 'seedling leave' from work to look after the plants in Spring when they are small and vulnerable :rotfl:
I am pretty pleased. Well, will see what's left by payday - will no doubt have to buy a few bits and bobs over the weekend - I am insisting on taking my turn buying food etc a bit more often. Think I will split whatever's left - half into savings account for forthcoming holidays and half towards debt.
Oh, also got an opportunity to maybe earn a bit more at work - just a few hours a week but it would be nice - watch this space!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

Laughing at the "don't ask" - I too had assumed you were testing the kitchen surfaces for interesting activities, and it got a bit *too* interesting....2023: the year I get to buy a car0
