  • Well I think the looking will have to go on hold till New Year now, not much about. Decided if I am going to be stuck here I'm going to try and get as much training as possible - may as well get some good out of the place! Still waiting for feedback on interview, bit worried about that but I suppose it's for the best to know.

Had really silly giggly night with Mr Squizz last night, we were online playing with those personalised card sites that you can add your photo to and put his face on all sorts of snowmen, robins, women in aprons... erm, maybe you had to be there :rotfl:

Bit of a nothing-y day today - bit of work to do but other than that not much going on at all.

  • Got my interview feedback... mostly quite good but basically that I didn't give enough detail in the earlier answers, and got better as I relaxed as it went on. She did give some useful tips on how to prepare for that sort of interview but feel a bit :( that I didn't do myself justice.

    Bring on the weekend!

it's annoying that they could obviously see the positives and the more realistic you later in the interview but still mark you down for the earlier questions....

    pah! their loss!!!

I suppose if someone else was confident all the way through then that's the sort of person they wanted, understandably really! Oh well.

Am puzzling over Mr Squizz's Christmas present here, got him a really nice scarf but he declared this morning that he probably couldn't wear a scarf with his new winter coat cos of how the collar is  Don't know whether to get him something else as well or instead (can't return the scarf as I've taken the label off)

£30-ish I think.. suppose I could try and sell it, don't know what else to get him though, he doesn't wear a watch or jewellery.. or aftershave... has got loads of books at home that he hasn't read yet.. Maybe I should try to experiment with his coat when he's not there to see if you can fit a scarf under the collar :rotfl:

I'm sure he'll be able to wear it somehow (why does he only have one coat anyway, oh yeah he's a bloke, he has so few clothes it's unbelievable!). Have just seen some very cosy merino/ alpaca wool socks so might get them too, he keeps going on about wanting warm socks - although erm, Christmas socks, how domesticated :rotfl:
