I think Orange have a £5 a month contract.. if you want a contract? Not sure what you get for that though.

  • And don't forget to go through Quidco for any free trials as well. I used to get quite a few from Charity shops and carboots ( often they flog the free DVD's you get in the papers) last haul was 4 good films for about 75p...good times. :)

Yep planning on working through Quidco for the free trials ;) Actually it will be good for me to read a bit more, not been doing so much lately. OK - off home to run and to cut the end off my aerial (ouch!).

OK - it was actually quite hard getting the end off the aerial cable! But it's done - Freeview box packed away and TV licensing informed. Apparently someone will eventually come and visit me to check but the direct debit is cancelled anyway so they'll get no more money from me.. mwahahah... :D

Had a good run last night, 3 miles in 27:05, and a gentle recovery one this morning (3 miles in a considerable longer time :rotfl:) which got me to work.

Doing pretty well with the low budget week - 10p spent so far :)

No money news so far today - I haven't spent any more, or made any more dramatic cutbacks.

Had a pretty emotional evening - Mr Squizz had been in a funny mood all day and we would normally have been going home together but he suddenly announced he wasn't feeling well and was going home to bed. He'd been a bit huffy with me over a few things and as the evening went on I was more and more convinced that he was fed up with me over something and got really upset (won't mention the p*r*n**d word in case Karma tells me off). Eventually he texted to say he was up and feeling a bit better so I rang and had a bit of a chat, asked if he wanted me to come round but he kept saying he did but it was too late/ too cold outside etc. Totally fed up by this point I told him that if he wanted to see me I would come round whatever the weather but if he didn't and wanted a quiet night in then just say so and stop making excuses. Then I burst into tears :o Anyway.. he came and picked me up, we had a long chat, we agreed we both have to be a bit better at saying what we're thinking and asking each other if we think there's something wrong as we both can get a bit neurotic and assume the worst. We both seem to have a bit of a barrier up about saying how we feel... self-defence I suppose! So we had lots of hugs, he said I was "wonderful" :o, I said a few things I haven't been brave enough to say before.. we ate a load of cr*p for tea and then cuddled up on the sofa. I think things are OK :)

Awwww, Squizz. You're not p*r*n**d..... there *was* stuff going on. Thats the kind of evening that can be a breakup, or the cause of you coming much closer together - I'm glad it was the latter, not the former. Good for you for having the courage to say it out loud (on the phone, when you said about the weather and coming around anyway). Hope you feel okay this morning - and I'd be stuffing down the comfort food like crazy too!
