I can't believe how much better I feel today. Mr S slept well too - he was actually woken up by the alarm for the first time in weeks.

I've just sorted out my new mobile phone - cost me £20 and then contract is £15 a month - should be delivered tomorrow :j

I'm not sure about the dancing but it definitely does singing (well, music), internet etc, and it's silver, which is obviously good :D

So, I've been trying to work out how to keep track of taking the £180 out of my overdraft for the course and repaying it... should I add it back on to my debt total or not, I guess I should. I've also discovered that one of my figures doesn't match what the DCA have - they were adding interest for a while without me realising. With both of those my total is back up to £8843.23 - it's never ending!

  • Could you get the interest back off the DCA? Also thinking whether it may be worth looking at F&F offers. Is that a goal you may be able to pursue?

It might well be Bob, I have thought about it - I guess I am a little bit wary of making sure that they don't sneakily come back to me later on and ask for more. It would involve quite a bit of saving up though I think.

Not sure if I can get interest back, I think it was in the bad old days when I was avoiding letters so they probably did tell me :o

Had a good day out in York yesterday for a meeting, interesting as I got to meet a few people who do my job elsewhere. Got home early as well which is always nice :) Got my new phone on Tuesday so got to fiddle about with that on the train, although there wasn't much signal so couldn't try out the internet/ email much - got that sorted this morning.

Had a busy morning catching up with work today but quiet now... not sure what I'm going to do this afternoon.

Have 12 days till payday and roughly £200 left in the bank. Not planning on spending much though.

Right have transferred £100 into overdraft, that makes up a bit for taking the course fee out of there. Still need to think about how to make some more extra money, although I should get paid for the extra stuff from job 2 next month which will help.

Thanks Bob! Hooray, it's Friday! Got up early to get an extra walk in before work, I have got an extra determined head on as far as the fitness goes. Still having a temperamental tummy so I'm going to have to knuckle down with the sensible eating too.

Found out yesterday that I need to take the rest of my annual leave before the end of September, which is a bit of a pain as Mr S can't really take any significant time off before then! So trying to figure out a few long weekends. I've still got a couple of massage etc vouchers from Groupon to use, so will try to fit them in on days off along with lots of nice walks/ runs/ swims etc.

Not sure what we're doing this weekend - maybe going to an outdoor theatre thing on Saturday if the weather's decent. Car is playing up though so probably not venturing far.
