I was confused as well. There definitely seems to be less stalls, and Queens Court remains, well, quite empty. As you walk on the McDonald's side of Queens Court, there's a notice on the window (I'm so bored when I'm up the centre I look for anything and everything to distract me) saying how the stalls have been relocated this year.
Mind you, I was up the centre at 10.15 on Sunday morning, before most of the shops were open for browsing...
If I'm right in thinking, everything's open until 8pm weeknights this week, and 9pm weeknights next week. Someone else might be able to confirm this for definite.0 -
Yeah they usually have late night opening on the week before Christmas.
Will they impose a ban on people suddenly stopping in the middle of the main avenue , so I dont have to walk into them quite so often0 -
Is it just me, or is everyone else fed up with being accosted by those damn salespeople at Draw and Glo, by Father Christmas in Middleton Hall - I tell them to !!!!!! off if they come within 3ft of me!! - Complain to Security!0

and a slightly more odd request for info from me today, I got some xmas money from my dad, and am thinking of getting a tattoo with it, I don't know of any places to get it done in mk, anyone got any reccomendations??!
festive thoughts and mk bargains to you all. just off to look in b&q to see if the xmas decs are reduced as I want more naff lights!!0 -
Can't help with the carpet cleaner I'm afraid $17mma - I have a steam cleaner and use that. You could hire a machine - there's a place opposite (the re-renamed) Black Horse pub at Linford, others please correct me if I'm wrong but I think they hire equipment out (otherwise, check the Yellow Pages)
As for the centre - I wish they would implement a 'walk up' policy on the left and a 'walk down' on the right of both malls - with the middle bits for crossover points. That, or provide 'stop and dither' spots...
The Draw and Glo people arebad, but not as bad as the nail people who used to be by Sports Soccer - "can I have a look at your nails?". Every time my answer is the same: "no, I bite them, I'm embarrassed by them, I don't want anything doing to them" (it gets rid of them)
Rant over...0
