Tesco tried to kill my mum!

Take it back with your receipt and threaten to report it and I can assure you that they will give you a voucher or something. If trading standards or who ever find an out of date product on their checks, they charge all supermarkets £5000 per item so you have actually saved them alot of money! So insist on a substantial form of compensation and you could easily get a £50 voucher out of it0

I am sorry to say but I would be very surprised if it was month 03...I would put money on it the month 08 didn't print properly....0

Check the 3 is not an 8 as the date can wear off but sometimes a prodict gets low on shelf they put out new stock and the old stuff gets pushed to back of shelf keeps happening until a few months later and you pick up an out of date product tesco do do date checks but can miss out a product so speek to the store manager first0

AND Tesco did not try to kill your mum I work for them and I did not try to kill her it's the person who put the NEW STOCK out and did not rotate the old stock and bring it out to the front of the shelf he or she is the person who tried to kill your mum0 -

As a Tesco employee, the person that made the mistake was acting as an agent for Tesco, and therefore their actions represent those of their employer. Therefore, the OP's statement is correct as far as he has stated his opinion (although I imagine that the facts of the situation are very different).Gone ... or have I?0 -
