Aww Debi sorry to hear your foot is still not 100%- hope the swelling goes down and it isn't too much of a hinderance. I work in healthcare so know how much of a problem these things can be.
Good luck with the job too. I'm sure it will feel strange to be going back to work.
Queen of no matter what- I think a new challenge would be great. Maybe put a post up for March- I will join. Can't think of anything I will need to buy this year.

Thought i'd better update:o
The spending spree resulted in all but the shoes and cardigan being taken back, much to the relief of my credit card!! I really struggled feb/march time but it also made me realise how much i shop for comfort, well i have well and truly broken that cycle:T
Since the blip in february i have lost a little weight and have been more inventive with my wardrobe, i am loving my style atm and i have even started a dress making course and made myself 2 maxi skirts. I love carboot season, lots of lovely things bought a styled appropritly. Funds have come via ebay sales, although not always my sales;) lets just say dh now has a minimilist wardrobe:rotfl:
So how have you all been getiing on?? would love to know!!

Well, I haven't really scaled down my wardrobe, but it is more streamlined and more coordinated!
Still have the boot collection
(tucked away until the colder months!) but not so many of the ones I don't wear very often.
Main clothing purchases this year have been wedding related - but most will be on Ebay in late September
I have also succumbed to the maxi-trend, along with loose linen trousers or knee length flirty skirts for the summer.
I've also got a plan for storing my necklaces so I can see them, and another for my scarves, just need the time to get on with the crafty stuff.
I have to admit that this thread, by way of getting the most value from one's wardrobe, encouraged me to be a bit more adventurous re my summer wardrobe, usually it's subdued T-shirts & linen trousers for work but this year I've worn skirts, summery tops and even a dress that I've had for ages & was "keeping for weekends or occasions" but never got worn

Great to hear your update sharron!!! You are doing so well :T
I so need to lose weight, I haven't lost any yet
and everything looks terrible on me atm. My only clothes/shoes/jewellery purchases have been from eBay and charity shops the last few months, and I am constantly thrilled by the bargains that I get - amazing quality stuff for pennies. One particular independent CS near me has the most incredible stuff and is the cheapest CS ever - most items are £1 and I got a pair of good-as-new Birkenstocks in there for £2 last week! :j I have also bought a few beautiful pieces with the intention of customising/altering them so must get organised and so that. I bought a gorgeous Zara silk skirt for £3.50 which needs to be taken in, but I want to lose some weight and then get it done - no point in doing it twice!
I haven't been in Primark for MONTHS but I hear that they have some nice round-neck cardis for £5 so I shall be going along to get a few soon. I haven't bothered with the sales at all but might mooch along to Accessorize and Monsoon when theirs starts.

floss, well done on making your wardrobe work harder, i must admit my wardrobe has got bigger:o I am constantly amazed at prices i have paid from boot sales and charity shops:j so much so that even primark seems expensive:eek: I am longing for winter since i purchased a pair of duo boots off ebay for £15 including postage, (they retail at about 120-160), love boots n tights and dresses:D
I have all of my scarves on a hanger thingy bought from ikea, it has lots of holes to store the scarves and i have it hanging on the back of my bedroom door, can't wait to start wearing them again, i have picked up a few lovely ones latley from boot sales for 20p:T
Tara, they are some serious bargains, if only i had have done this challenge years ago, Mr egg would have been poorer and me richer;) The weight thing can really knock your confidence, even half a stone really affects the way i feel in my clothes. Customising and altering is soo rewarding, just today i added 5 inches to a tunic to make it into a dress so it can be worn without leggings. It cost me £1.50 from car boot, it's from river island and it can now be worn with leggings long sleeve t-shirt and boots in winter and as a dress with sandles in the summer.
Well done girlies, *is thinking of what the NEXT challenge could be*
