    Hi Sharon

I too have piled on the weight  and am fed up wearing sweat pants for obvious reasons, went to a party NYE and wore a dress, managed to wear a pair of ribbed tights over my cast; twas a struggle & a bit painful to get them on though . Will be glad to get rid of my crutches as on the night of the party I managed to trip up 4 drunken revellers

It looks like I may have a uniform of a shirt :rotfl:unlike my last job which was very corporate cropped & longline jacket, flippy skirt, trousers, shirts & wrap over tops with the obligatory scarf which I hated.

Well done regarding M&S and avoiding the sale rail :D.

I too am an ugg girl and I love them, cannot wait to start wearing them again, roll on wednesday, hopefully I will be cast free :j

    Evening fellow Ugg-wearers,

Is it ok to wear them in the snow? It's not deep snow here, just thick ice really, but I don't know if I'll ruin my Uggs if they get a bit damp?

    xx

Are you right in Glasgow, glasgowgirl? I'm between Glasgow and Edinburgh and I am snowed in, it's about six inches deep in my garden

I've just bought myself two lovely jumper dresses from Dorothy P's today, couldn't decide which one I wanted but OH bought me one although I have made him not buy me anything for Valentine's Day! Feel guilty though as was trying not to buy.

Well I signed up for this in September and am still going strong! I was pleased to get a jumper and slippers and £30 M&S vouchers for christmas, which I will allow myself to spend - had hoped for more vouchers less chocolate but beggars cant be choosers:)

    Good Luck Sharon!

I've also made a similar list in my little notepad and will be reading it everyday :)

Just to add my own experience: I absolutely love fashion/clothes but since I've put on weight, in my opinion nothing looks good anymore on my body so I've stopped buying nice pretty clothes and usually end up wearing something frumpy.

I don't want to spend money on buying clothes that don't look as pretty on anymore so I've decided not to buy anymore clothes till I've dropped 2 dress sizes then go and buy some lovely stuff.

Hiya, yes I'm city centre. Very slushy and horrible today. At least it kept me away from the shops on my lunch! :T

OK, I know I'm not doing this challenge, but I subscribe and have read every single post and admire you all.

So here is my little contribution.

I really want one of Primark's big thick soft dressing gowns but they are £10 each!!! Eek!!!

But they are doing a receipt amnesty at the mo so I have gathered up £9 worth of clearance-rail items I bought during Nov and Dec which don't really fit, and will return them tomorrow. I'm returning 2 tops, 2 cardis, a shrug and a dress.

So my gorgeous dressing gown will only cost me £1!!! And it'll free up some space in my wardrobe, yay!

Might give some of you ideas for 'free' clothes if you have unwanted recent Primark purchases in the house and they are outside the 28-day return period.

Still not bought anything. Got 2 bras and a pair of pants for Christmas so need to go to marks and return something to make it 2 undies sets (may buy something extra and have 3 though?). I did buy myself a hat before christmas but don't count that cause I have been wearing my 8 yr old DD's for ages. It's really snowy here!

It means you can return things without a receipt for an exchange, they don't normally allow this.

Are they doing it at all stores, Tara?? How did you find out about that? I was there on Fri (Bham store) and no mention..
