Elle I think a hot tub could be too hot?? I have in my head that jacuzzi/bubbley things aren't generally ok for kids, don't know why tho...

I don't think I'll bother with anything for Ed in the pool, I had a floaty ring/seat thing for Chris (but sold it having never been swimming)

.. I meant baby and toddler session at swimming pool not actual swimming lessons. It's a 2 hour session from 10-12 on tues and Thurs it's great as there is only LO and parents in. We also have a baby splash pool but it's always full of Big brats during normal public sessions!!!!!

I've just checked the local pools (four of them!) websites and there is something called Baby Talk for half an hour one morning, and it also says they do baby swimming lessons from 5 months (mid-October for Rhys). Think I might have to give them a ring and find out more.. :)

Elle Sorry that was me presuming that you meant u were taking Rhys:rolleyes:

Sami I'm allowed El in our local pool jacuzzi (altho never taken her in) but I think the staff are so lapsadazical (sp) so prob wouldn't have a clue if she was meant to be there or not

El has been to swimming lessons from 6 months but decided at the last lot she didn't like it but I think it was more coz her nap time changed and it was right in the middle of the lessons, so she was grumpy. We go back on Mon so will see then.

We had one of those swim seats and they are great as your arms ache if you have to hold them the whole time your in the pool.

    Woohoo.. Reasons to celebrate:

    1. Blood tests went well, Rhys "bled like a dream" (lurvely!) and we were so quick we didn't have to pay for the car parking!
    2. We saw old friends from the NeoNatal Unit in the car park - the LO who took a turn for the worse shortly before he was due home. So nice to see him doing well :D They're going to come round once he's a little better (still requires a fair bit of kit to be carried with him)
    3. THE BUILDERS HAVE GONE!! My house is my own at last! :D

    :j :j :j

:j Yay to all three things Elle!

definitely try other pesto, there's lots of diff ones but sacla sun dried tom is my fave (and is often cheapest) it's easy to make yourself with a blender if you have one (not that I've ever bothered) you just chuck it all in and whizz up

I can definitely second that. It is lush!

MOTM - I thought I remembered reading something about coating chocolate chips in flour before adding them to the cake mixture and that would stop them sinking. I've just Googled it to make sure I didn't make it up and it seems that is the case. There are a few more suggestions here too.

But Sami, everyone needs to see their hair at every single angle....!!

I have major issues with my hair, since having Keira my hair has went very thin as before it used to be so thick it looked like I had glue in it most mornings, Last time I went to the hairdressers they told me I should go to the docs as my middle pattern was shockingly noticeable! I think it has thickened up a bit since then though.....I need to go get my fringe cut next week and I think I'll ask for some more layers in it too as that makes your look thicker.

This is my hair styling technique...wash, dry, straighten, backcomb and spray liberal amounts of hairspray to get bouffant hair.....TA DA!

I was sick of seeing my creepy cats eyes looking at me, I get enough of that when I go for a wee, plus she scratched me earlier and put a hole in my tshirt so she isn't my fwend...
