Wi3adora, how did you lose so much weight during pregnancy?

I got GD and had to watch my diet to make sure my sugars didn't go too high, I couldn't have pudding for 20 weeks, not good when your pregnancy crosses Xmas!

MotM - I will do it tomorrow, it's a not a fast leak, and that mould and staining has been there for months and I didn't realise what it was......

Well because I live in a skyscraper, cats and dogs aren't allowed, yet having a whole playground of guinea pigs apparently is (her next door has at least 8 of them) and when my cats escape out the front door for a sniff in the drying room, they can smell/hear the honking little things and go nuts.....

urgh! Mark is soo not attractive, do they know they're barking up the wrong tree?

They know he likes men, but they don't mind. They are 10 and 11 though, so no need to worry just yet. :D

It's possible that nothing will come of it. I had a leak about 4 years ago and I kept putting it off as it kept leaking for a few days, stopping, coming back 2 weeks later. I then paid for someone to come out and it just needed a bit of pipe replacing. It's not always a disaster and the good thing for you, it will be free.

I doubt the workers will be too bothered about the cats. Put them in a room where they have no need to go and put on an animal documentary with lots of animal noises to throw the workers off the scent, just incase :D

Good plan. What I think I'll do is put them in the kitchen (furthest room away from the leak) and put their food and toilets in there too, just incase they need to go. DD can't be trusted not to let them out of the living room as she is way too nosey, last time I told her not to open the door as I was going out with the bins, the kitten made a dash for it, just as the paper boy came in the door, so he got down to the 3rd floor before I caught him, he was terrified the poor thing.

We have had lots of problems with that boiler, I remember about a year and a half ago (near Xmas) we had no hot water, they'd come out fix it, we'd get hot water for about 5minutes, then it'd go again. I had them out every single day for over a fortnight before they actually fixed whatever it was.

Now, you think the council worker could be bribed to installing my shower for me.....what do they call them "homers" or something? Mind you I'd need an electrician and a plumber....

Button - where does the water get switched off? If the tap is in the kitchen, they may need to go in there. If they do any work, they'll need to switch the water supply off. Poor cat, at least you got him back, but may be best to have somewhere away from your DD :D

These workers can seem to not have much of a clue sometimes :o Sadly I don't think they would install your shower, although if you get a nice worker, he may be trained in plumbing and electrician terms. Fat chance though, Nice, trained in both and willing :)
