MotM - it's odd because I don't actually think I ever did it as a kid... So why I'd want to do it now I'm a grown woman I have no idea :) Hormones! PAH! :D

MrsT I am Soooooo independant it's unreal - yet having had LO I just want my mum around so much more. She's not as far away as yours, but we see her about once a fortnight or so and I still miss her!:p never felt like that before now:o

Weezl - have you heard of Floradix possibly a cheaper alternative to spatone? (I'm not sure of the dosage or what the other things in it do)

Let me know if you find this please - I've looked in all our supermarkets, chemists and boots and no-one here stocks it:confused: Nope - it hadn't occurred to be to try and buy it online:rotfl:

r.mac - at least it's not just me then! Both mum and I are fiercely independant people. Mum had no choice growing up (her mum died when mum was about 13-14 and her stepdad was abusive. Mum in the end basically brought up her brothers and sisters and only stayed because of them... ) but I think it meant she wanted me to be very independant too. So we're very alike in our "need" for other people levels. However having had a baby and mum being a grandmother means that we both seem to want to be together more... all very odd :)

I think my boiler is leaking, it's behind a panel in the utility room, that's where I keep the litterboxes, and I thought the kitten had been missing the box, but I lifted up the big covered litterbox and there is loads of condensation underneath and when I ran a towel along the edge of the flooring near where the boiler was, water was coming out from underneath, also mould or a dark stain growing in a corner....

thing is, I'm not supposed to have cats, I'm worried when they come out they'll see and evict me lol....well it's not lol, but why not

button do you not have a number to phone? we are in a private let and we have the homecare number for the heating/boiler so if anything happens we phone scottish gas and they come straight out rather than phoning landlord and having to wait! that reminds me i had a letter to arrange a service!

well i have just had the HV out for a whole 2 hours:eek: she isnt happy with me and said my anxiety levels are too high? she is speaking to doctor this week before i go back? she watched charlie and played with him for a while. she said he definatly doesnt have adhd as he asked to go to bed and went straight to sleep while she was here lol! she said that he does have problems but she is not sure exactly what. one being he is 19 months in speach but in size and mentally he is a lot older, she said he is very clever but is very frustrated. she is refering him to another place as she thinks the hospital will say physically there is nothing wrong so theres nothing we can do. she is also looking into a special funded nursery to give us restbite! im over the moon that she is so helpful and willing to do lots to help us out. dont feel that im banging my head on a brick wall too! sorry for the ramble just needed to tell someone:D

great news Caz. I'm so pleased someone is listening :j

buttons - can you ask someone to look after the cats for a day or two?
Even put them in a cattery for a night if need be when they come out?
Landlords have to give x amount of notice about when they come out to inspect a property and should "book" an appointment with you as such. That should give you time to get mitmots out the way.
And have you thought about asking if you can have a cat? Most landlords aren't actually unreasonable about it - some might ask for a clause in the contract to be added saying you will make doog any damage caused by said pet or ask for a slightly larger deposit in case the pet cause damage etc. And most commonly they will ask for any carpets to be professionally cleaned when you move out.
