I'm exhausted and I think Alexandra is too... we've had a superscreamy day here in the T house and we screamed so much that when daddy called earlier today he didn't say anything other than "I'm leave the office now - I can do everything else from home but I think you need a hand?" (meant as in supportive, not saying I couldn't cope
) and he was home just after 4 (instead of his normal 7pm+)
Alexandra then worried him so much he wanted to call the doctors and ambulances - you name it! Because she was crying that loudly and working herself into a tizzy! she wasn't running a temp and she'd stop when something distracted her so I just walked round with her for 20 mins until she settled down again... Everytime daddy took her though off she'd go again lol
Finally she's nodded off in her basket now so I've just poured a glass of white wine! I think it's deserved!DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

carla - we were almost housebound due to the rain too. I had to nip out for my sanity though so we went to mothercare. Got LO a pretty swimsuit and some bigger bibs. They have loads of sale clothes left, but they haven't reduced them much - not even as much as 40% of most of them! The sale has been going on for months now. I know I'd have bought more things had I felt I was getting a decent reduction.
Buttons - it costs £5 to join bizzibaby's. You fill in a short questionnaire about teh gender/age of your child and thye try and allocate products accordingly. I believe that they put you on rotation to test items. Most of us have signed up and been offered things to test, all of which cost more than £5 to buy. hope that helpsr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -

MrsT - those days are the hardest work aren't they? Why didn't anyone tell us about them in antenatal class :rotfl: Glad to see you have a wonderful hubby. Now drink your wine and tell us again why on earth you are excited about next week - I can't remember what you are up to????r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0

LOL r.mac that would be because MY MUM IS COMING! :rotfl: And I can then either hand her Alexandra OR she will keep telling me over and over again that I'm doing a great job...
And yes those days are the hardest... Hubby has to go into work briefly tomorrow so he's said he'll take Alexandra in with him (literately just nipping in to pick something up) and I can either stay in bed and snooze or do something just for meHe's lovely ain't he?
