think i need a baby monitor ................... but cant afford one :undecided x

i want one too. i have one but it's an analouge one and after reading on here about others heariing other people on theirs i do not want to use it. i remembered after it was talkedabout on here, the first time i turned it on i picked up some guy talking at a garage i think. i certainly do not want others hearing my baby, so a digital one i'll have to get.

pfffrrrt :p 22 bits it's got! off to wash n sterilise and knowing my luck byu the time I've done it all Ed will wake up for a feed!

I have one coming on Thursday. I oooed and aaaahed for ages before buying it. If hubby asks then I will have to pretend I'm testing it as I already have 3 other pumps!! My name is mooki and I am a pumpaholic!:p

Leila sleeps with her silk blanket from her bear that makes womb noises (cant remember what its called). However, I only let her sleep with it when she goes in her car seat at the moment as I am undecided whether I want her to become too attached to it (ie cant sleep without it) and then I am stuck with carrying it about for ever more. I had a friend who carried her 'booba' (aka a dirty snot rag) around with her up to the age of about 14. It was really disgusting as she wouldnt let her mum wash it.
Leila is so cute when she clutches it in her little hand though.:o

I need to buy madam another sleeping bag. I have one from ikea and the zip is at the front near her neck and I think it can dig in
to her when it rides up. Just browsing on ebay for one (or two).

I bought this today from TK Maxx for £29.99. Leila sat in it playing with the little toy this afternoon. I have hidden it in the car though so I can slowly introduce it into the house so OH doesnt really notice! He is becoming increasingly concerned that the sitting room now resembles a play room. So far it has a play gym, a big doughnut/nest thing, a baby bouncer, and a light smattering of various singing, light up and soft toys. The thing is he asks me if she really needs something and I say yes but he's only convinced when he see's Leila playing with it (like the play gym that she loves) and then he accepts it.

I looked at your holiday destination, Elle (and Sami;))and asked OH if he would consider a holiday in the peak district. His answer NO, why would I want to spend my holiday climbing up and down hills and its always freezing there no matter when you go. Guess we wont be joining you in November then!!! He doesnt like beach holidays either though. He's very hard to please (Not like that SM and MM)!!

Thanks, Feelie for your post earlier. I can never remember anything. I skim read so fast that by the time I get to the end, I can just about remember the post before.

    xx

Go on Elle a nice long soak will do you the world of good. Just take Rhys into the bathroom with you if you want to give OH peace.

Peace?! He kidnapped Rhys hours ago.. :p They've been hiding out in the comp room, Rhys asleep on Daddy's shoulder. I've sorted the next bottle out and taken it and a thermal mug with hot water to OH so he doesn't have to get up if Rhys starts crying.. :)

HA! I just squished a massive spider! :D
