Bruno - Sorry your OH wasn't going swimming with you. Doing fun things with Elijah might help her to bond with him a bit more and possibly not become so frazzled with him when he isn't being an angel;) as she would have 'fun' memories too iykwim...maybe try to encourage her to join you both, when you go on trips out!

FIL turned up today, but he only had 1 twirl each for the boys;) He usually brings them a multi-pack each:eek:

OMG when I said I was going for a little snuggle with dh, when Kai had fallen asleep.... Well I did, only next time I looked at the clock and it was 10.35:o We had fallen fast asleep:o
I rushed downstairs panicking, but all was well...the older two had 'looked after' Kai. They said he had been whining a bit but they gave him his dum-dum and his tigger and turned his swing up to a faster setting:rotfl: They were on the PS3 but said they had chosen a baby friendly game to play...not a shooting one, because it wouldn't be nice for Kai to watch:D

    Mel x
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.
  • Mel - what fantastic boys you have!!! You must have needed the sleep:D

Just had fun with DD, got her down from the table after tea, I then had tears for about half an hour, all I did was mention putting her bears away!

She also wanted to say night night to daddy over the phone but I waited until she'd calmed down for that.
Proud to be dealing with my debts
    DD Katie born April 2007!
3 years 9 months and proud of it
    dreams do come true (eventually!)

Finally made the Rocky Road I've been promising myself. It's got chocolate, butter, golden syrup, digestive biscuits, mashmallows, sultanas, apricots and cherries in it - basically whatever I found in the cupboard :D

Rhys is fast off asleep in his bouncer. Having spent the morning dozing on the sofa with me, he's been awake for eight hours barring one ten minute nap. Hoping he'll have a good few hours now and then we'll see about the middle of the night when it happens :o

One more load of washing to do then I've washed everything in the house ready to go back fresh in the wardrobes this week :D Have rewritten my list and seem to have added more to it than I'd crossed off. Dad will be here tomorrow finishing the painting so hopefully I can get a good night sleep in and be up and about while he's here.

Have ordered two personalised mugs and photo keyrings for Grandma and Grandad, plus need to order Dad's work trousers and to go to the salon Mum uses to book her pedicure and pick up the voucher. With them being off work, they'll probably be here or Mum will want to tag along with me if I go into town so I need to work out how to shrug them off for a while to give me time to go fetch everything!

Have booked a table at a nice restaurant for Wednesday night so had better have my hair cut early this week and relearn how to walk in heels too! :D

    Maz, the NHS site says

"To claim your free prescriptions and dental treatment you will need a valid maternity exemption certificate, or card, issued by the Prescription Pricing Authority. To apply for your maternity exemption card, ask your doctor, midwife, or health visitor for Form FW8. Your doctor, midwife, or health visitor will sign the form to confirm your statement."

not convinced we did all that though... also, OH has never had to actually show it, just going into the pharmacy carrying baby meant they put her down as exempt! Not sure if that would be true everywhere :)
