    hello
it was about 2 in the morning and we had got a lift to his house and I was getting a taxi from there and had half an hour to spare so got comfortable in the living room and we heard footsteps after about 10 mins and he walked into the room while I was pulling up my jeans and Chris was doing up his buttons. Chris just said, 'alright Dad, Donnas just waiting for a taxi' and that was it. He went and put the kettle on and started talking to me about the weather

LOL!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Wonder if he was used to it?

Mrs T, without venturing tooooo far into the realms of TMI, it's kind of likely to be the *ahem* re-virginising effect...? Or so I [STRIKE]experienced[/STRIKE] heard anyway.

Caz, good on you, that sounds like a very useful new friend! What a lot of possibilities :) also I wish your cafe was near us (instead of 600 miles away... d'oh...)! you make it sound so appealing :)

And Feely, well done you on the increased mummy-bonding action too, if I remember from yesterday? :)
  • I'm back. Feels like longer than it has been, since I've been here. Not really up to reading back (which I feel terrible about, I think it will be the first time I've left a post unread since I joined the pregnancy thread 11 months ago). Have I missed anything? How is everyone? Summing up post most welcome, want know how everyone is, even if I can't read back.

    Welcome back :)

Erm, people have mostly been talking about, sex, the lack of it, the lack of interest in it, or the difficulty having it :p
Most people had an ok night, it's MFD's birthday and she is off on hols, it's Mel's anniversary and she is snuggling, and Sami's Chris is eating cucumbers :D lots of OHs are playing Batman: Arkham Asylum, and Weezl's Fergie's bottom is bleeding :(

was that it? What did I miss?

ETA: Feely, sounds really good! Not overwhelmingly much, but something every week, is excellent. More than my OH is managing at the moment :/

yeah, did it last night and tonight, but I have to say he has been less annoyed at us the last 2 days when we are trying to open his hands anyway, so he might be getting used to it :D:rotfl:

Great stuff! He will get used to it. I need to tidy out the boys room later on and I will see if there is any OT stuff left from when DS2 was that age (well, he was older, 8 months).

(((huge hugs for Mooki))) it's good to tell us all the little secret things that you wouldn't tell anyone else, thats the beauty of the internet.

Pinkpig, about 6 weeks with the boys, this time the mind is willing but the body is holding things up  As for not being interested I found that it's one of things that you have to force yourself to do a few times to get back in the habit. More you get more you want type thing.

On that note, am I the only person who doesn't like kissing, snogging type kissing? I can do pecks but anything more just grosses me out. But then I can't stand anything to do with the mouth, can't watch people eat, spitting makes me gag... I am weird! (notice I didn't say 'oral' ;))

    poor benjamin!

    poor ed!!

:rotfl: they're like sheep, our babies!

or more like lemmings in this case! :rotfl:
poor little man, get those prunes into him pronto! definitely take him to the docs, they must have to do something about that? have you tried giving him some diluted not from concentrate orange juice as well? i've heard thats meant to be quite good never had to try it myself though. smushy poop vibes for ferg
Weezl - get fergie to the docs and sod the 7day rule! you and fergie are far more impotant than a bit of nhs money! you can save their money later :)
tips for constipation, a teaspoon of sugar dizolved in 1oz water can act as a stool softener (but I didn't tell you that in case his teeth rot :p)
you can also give him 1 or 2 teaspoons of pure fresh OJ to make him go.
If I were you I'd stop giving him any food other than fruit until he's cleared out but ask GP/HV about that. also onion or cabbage water has been recommended to me.
    keep up the prunes.

don't let them fob you off, you don't want fergie ending up with bowl problems in the future so make sure they help you get him sorted.

Big Hugs to you xxxxx you ARE doing a good job!

I'm not supposed to be here! I'll be in trouble for being late to lunch but I'm still feeding Ed who's in his PJs, I'm not dressed, got wet hair and Chris is running round in his nappy. I feel like crying coz I don't want to go :o
