  • Hello,

Not had chance to catch up so (((Hugs))) all round.

The church session went well the children seemed to enjoy it and my helper (who is experienced) didn't make any negative comments.

DD was good as she got bored after about half an hour so one of the other mums took her to the creche for me - I got the biggest hug when she came back.

Just need to string the paper people together that they coloured in ready to hang up in church.

DD is only just having her dinner as she fell asleep of the settee when we got home - I need her in bed early tonight as grandad/grandma are babysitting whilst go to [STRIKE]the pub[/STRIKE] a meeting to plan the rota for the next 3 months of Sunday school.

    MDW

P.S. woke up this morning and DD was still in her own bed!!!

  • Morning all. I have a baby here who is tired, but is having far too much fun to go to sleep. Which is a shame, as I have a job application to get finished. Never mind. Will get there eventually!

Our tesco is shutting for a week from 4pm, so going to pootle over there in a bit and see what is reduced :).

So much for going to Morrisons for mint sauce, milk, bread and light blue thread (WHICH I FORGOT TO GET AGAIN!) Ended up spending £41

I got a lot of reduced stuff though, well things like soup packs down to 20p, avacados, green beans etc. Then I realised I needed peppers and onions (we go through a lot of those every week) and WHY are peppers so dear now! Even for the value packs and I swear to blog they are shrinking the ones in them every week!

Got 3 packs of 800g mince for £10 though, I find morrisons meat is WAY better than any of the other supermarkets, when you cook the mince it actually looks like mince and not stringy lumps! So I'll half those portions, maybe quarter one of them too as sometimes 200g does the job nicely, with some reduced mushrooms added to bulk it out :p

Oh and OH and Keira dove into the pik a mix, and were both scooping a bag full, I told them it would cost loads and I was right, £4.50!! On blimmin jelly beans. PAH!

Hey luv don't waste the fairies time it runs out the end of sept and I've nabbed my mums card now anyway so no worries tell the fairies to save their pennies:rotfl: Did you get a chance to go? Actually honestly keep the card and if there is vouchers again (as the new voucher book is out) I will give them to the fairies as I doubt very much we'll be going, so at least if you still have a card you can use the vouchers no probs.
