Part of the Furniture 10,000 Posts Name Dropper Photogenic
    I bought these today:

Picture doesn't do them any justice. They're really cute and snuggly in real life

Weather is pants here too. Really drizzley and windy and more like November.
Here I go again on my own....
  • Jamie was extremely gripey yesterday and this morning he has his 5th tooth! :j

He has been rolling, crawling, getting into the sitting position, clapping hands for a while now (not meant in a braggy way at all!) but sometimes I forget to mention it here!.

My nephew is 3m younger than Poppy and he is not crawling, walking or talking yet so I tend to not mention things as MIL compares all the time (and I don't like it!).

    xx

    Good luck today Elle. XXX

Maddy is 7wks old and 11lb in weight. I am mix feeding with 2 bottles a day and she has just managed 90ml, does that seem ok? I have no idea!
I'm sure it's fine :) she'll let you know if she's hungry honey, I think BF babies tend to have less milk by volume anyway but I'm not sure of that bit 100% x

Embarassed to say that baby's arrived last week, it was my one I was waiting on - And the worst bit was that it didn't need to be changed, I just wanted it to be in my married name:o:o:o
yes it did :p you can get fined for not updating your passport with married name, I think it's actually illegal not to. MIL told be off when she found out mine was in my old name :o

Lovely pjs Becs, but they look like they need ironing. Mine like that always go a funny shape. They are so much more comfy though than jersey! If you get away without the iron please let me know!

I saw HV this morning Triggles, with my PND survey. Pants really as my depression last time didn't get that bad until 6mths and all I did on the survey was tick all the 'right' boxes. Think she realised that so made a point at the clinic of coming over to chat and I notice she didn't do that with anyone else.

(Was nothing to do with the fact that it was the 1st time I'd shown up there and shot in, weighed Maddy then left again at speed!)
Too many children, too little time!!!

Triggles, I'd have told the HV to jog on ;)
Its blooming stressful and tiring looking after a newborn with a toddler!

According to the doctors, Rhys should be a vegetable, spending his future in a wheelchair, being tube fed and not getting a scrap of enjoyment out of life.. My telling everyone how well he is doing partially a thankyou to everyone for keeping me going and keeping me strong enough to be able to encourage him to do these things, and just believe that one day he might do them.

Good luck today elle - I can't remember if I told you about my brother. He was born at 26 weeks, had a stroke at 10 days and had fluid on the brain s well as bleeding. We were told that he'd be a vegetable.

He turns 21 in February, is at university and is working towards getting his pilot's licence.

I love hearing how well Rhys is doing.
More than what I have ever made for DH!

He does all the meat cooking at home :D.

I can honestly say he didn't marry me for me Nigella-esque culinary skills :rotfl:

    xx

I've only cooked twice for Husband. The first time he was so overcome by my Thai curry that he proposed on the spot (actually it was planned that he'd do it sometime soonish, but I didn't know that and he decided the mood was perfect). The second time he was sick and I made him a bacon and egg sandwich :rotfl:Nigella I'm not.

Why do they compare, they are all soooo different. Some are academic, some sporty, some artistic. Everyone has different strengths.

When Ben tells MIL about something he's proud of she always comes straight back with 'oh **** does that, he can also...' well Ben couldn't give a toss what his cousin is up to!!!
