Urgh, two minutes of GMTV and it reminds me why I stopped watching it ten years ago.. doesn't get any better! Anyway..
Does Lorraine Kelly still present? She is what I call, a guilty pleasureI have no idea why, she's nothing like the kind of women that usually make me smile :rotfl: Maybe it's because she is so nice
Morning ladies & gents! I've had a quick scan through, but not read properly - too many pages! Sorry if i've missed anything important.
I can't believe Christmas was being discussed last night - its still bl00dy August! Although, my mums usual 'what are we doing for Christmas dinner?' phone call normally comes in August.
We like to get things done early/spread out. Spread the cost and all that. Can you not just unplug the phone and pretend you are not inArgh  Im so upset and annoyed, I just popped out to go to the post office and I had Lexi and Joshua with me. Some stupid drunken hag was bending over into Lexi's pram and trying to touch her  So I said ' sorry but would you mind not touching her please as she isnt very well' ( a lie but she was drunk, filthy and shouty) I just wanted to get away
So she started rambling something at me about how rude I was and tried to pick her up - well I saw red  I told her to move away from the pram and stop touching my baby now or she would end up sorry
She stopped but she only went and pushed me over - right onto the floor, I honestly wasnt expecting it. I didnt know what to do then so I came home and now I am fuming!
All I wanted to do was go the the bl00dy post office, Im really upset and shaking I think thats just the rage inside me!
I'd call the police. Even if you are okay physically, you are a mother and your child needs protecting first and foremost and as the mother, you need to be in the right frame of mind. You'll be worried next time you go out that this piece of filth is still about and have fears of this incident being repeated.

Anyhow, we're apparently making fairy cakes today. We hadn't any major plans for today, but we are making fairy cakes then walking down the shop.
14 has her friend here, so i'm going to try and impress her with my baking skills. I hope she doesn't go home unwell, or my name will be mud
Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday.0 -
Most of my childhood holidays were to Pontins Southport or Pontins near Rhyl - both about 40 minutes away! I always loved it! :rotfl:
Most Haven/Pontins style things do Friday-Monday, Monday-Friday or Saturday-Saturday holidays, so maybe do a short one first to see if it suits your lot!
Well, as long as the girls enjoy it, then I will.
I'll take a look online tonight and maybe see if I can order a brochure to come in the post.

Thanks 3, Urgh feel stupid and annoyed now for not doing 'something' but what can I do when I have my little ones with me? Cant be bothered with the whole police procedure. I dont think I will bother to tell OH he is already super protective of me
dont know why!? But this would send him mental! I dont usually keep things from him just incase anyone is wondering but Im ok and this would just cause him to worry about me every time I leave the house!
Thank you for the hugs xx
I understand the overprotective thing, but you were, even if not in physical pain, assaulted. Even if you don't go to the police, it's your call with your partner, but it may be worthwhile that he knows, so if it happens again and the police do get involved, you have someone to say they knew it happened before.0 -
Thinking about it I may not get away with not telling OH the all seeing Joshua was there, so he's going to tell his dad without a doubt. He is in meetings all day though so will have to wait until he gets home.... bu99er its always something!

Right, silly question time.........
We're going away to Dublin next Thursday, in the car.
We're trying to save as much space as possible. She's 6 months and 2 weeks almost - do I need to take the steriliser? I though you could stop at 6 months, but read on here that its 12 months.
She's still mostly b/fed, but has a bottle of formula at night time, plus theres all the spoons/bowls i've been sterilising.
When can she have weetabix? I remember the big two loving it for breakfast with warm milk - but I can't remember how old they were?
I've just got a delivery from George of some 6-9 outfits - and they look huge! The 3-6's are just getting a bit short/tight - but the difference in sizes looks massive!you can even pour the milton into a smaller travel bottle (though keep out of kids reach - don't want DS drinking it )
weetabix is ok from 6monthsfeelinggood wrote: »This new forehead thermometer is fab, I keep taking his (and mine) temperatures every 5 minutes. It is so much easier than the underarm, strip or ear ones!
sparkle - hope you're feeling a bit calmer now, can you get pepper spray in the uk?? If that happened to me I'd be struggling to keep OH from going out with his baseball bat0 -
hugs to you sparkle, I think you did damn well not to smack her back I don't know if I would have been so restraint!:heart2: Charlie born Aug 2007 :heart2: Reece born May 2009

Chris refused to stay still long enough for a forehead one, I've tried them all but only the super fast ear one is doable here :rotfl:
