brilliant news Caz
How are you getting on - I was thinking of you this morning actually wondering how hectic your house would be!!!!
How's Erin getting on?
well, I'm full of a nasty cold so not planning on doing much today - although ahve to pop into the shop v quickly. just off to feed the LO and do some washing - a very glamourous day with us thenr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
I have a Toby teetering on the edge of a temperature, I imagine because of the jabs. Tried to give him calpol last night, cue lots of projectile vomitting (Dad wasn't pleased!). He seems happy enough, temperature is only in the 'yellow' bit so not a proper temperature, and he seems happy enough.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0

Morning ladies & gents! I've had a quick scan through, but not read properly - too many pages! Sorry if i've missed anything important.
I can't believe Christmas was being discussed last night - its still bl00dy August! Although, my mums usual 'what are we doing for Christmas dinner?' phone call normally comes in August. :rolleyes:scruffy96uk wrote: »I ate pineapple and rubbed the pressure points in my ankle not sure if it was coincidence (sp) or if it actually worked!!
I dreamt, on the nights before I had my big two, that I was massaging my ankle & hand pressure points! And woke up in labour! Not sure if I had been doing it in my sleep.
However, I massaged, had pineapple, curry, s£x, RLT and EPO for weeks before I finally had Violet! :mad:My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »When do you go MacSmiler?
Hubby came home today talking about cheap (£450 for all 3 of us) flights from Birmingham to Florida where MIL has a villa!!
I had said no to a long-haul flight first time but I am sorely tempted!!
Trouble is the flights are a week on Friday and Benjamin hasn't got a passport yet! I sent off for it a week ago
Our passport took 11 days a couple of weeks ago - so you should have it on time.
Yey for back to school Caz! I can't wait. Only 14 sleeps for us now!
Right, silly question time.........
We're going away to Dublin next Thursday, in the car.
We're trying to save as much space as possible. She's 6 months and 2 weeks almost - do I need to take the steriliser? I though you could stop at 6 months, but read on here that its 12 months.
She's still mostly b/fed, but has a bottle of formula at night time, plus theres all the spoons/bowls i've been sterilising.
When can she have weetabix? I remember the big two loving it for breakfast with warm milk - but I can't remember how old they were?
I've just got a delivery from George of some 6-9 outfits - and they look huge! The 3-6's are just getting a bit short/tight - but the difference in sizes looks massive!:beer:0 -
just keep him stripped down and keep an eye on him fg, sure he'll be fine... Skin to skin is also good for lowering temperatures
Caitlyn just rolled from her front to her back! Think it's a fluke because we're lying on the bed, will take her downstais in a min and see if she does it again while I eat my rice crispies...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

from 6months they can have cows milk on cereal on in cooking. Can't comment on the sterilising as never bothered with sterilising any bottles/spoons/dummies etc as mine are mainly b/fed (don't shoot me!!)
rmac put any of the formula cartons into resealable bags just in case your hold luggage is a little roughly handled by the airport staff - formula milk smelling clothes mmm nice!:heart2: Charlie born Aug 2007 :heart2: Reece born May 2009

This new forehead thermometer is fab, I keep taking his (and mine) temperatures every 5 minutes. It is so much easier than the underarm, strip or ear ones!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0

You don't need to sterilise bowls and spoons, but you do need to sterilise bottles/teats till 12 months.
