.. elle, they are a wee bit small !! I would buy some a bit bigger :) But I am one of those people who only bought 9oz bottles even when he was on 2 ox feeds as I didnt see the point of buying a 2nd set !!

Cuteness is not a factor to be used when deciding on weaning food pots then?:o:p

What is the biggest feed babies get to in one go? I've only bought 150ml bottles so far cos I didn't want to daunt Rhys with a huge bottle - might have been bigger than he was!

Yeah the stage 2 are a bit more lumpy, jasmines the same she handle lumps better than really smooth, i find if i use jars it goes really watery before she's finished as well? Maybe try normal porridge, ie ready brek? its a bit thicker than the baby ones,

    Thanks jakesmummy!
At the moment I am buying the expensive baby porridge :o

Having now experience 2 jars I don't think I will be buying anymore. I have had the pouches before which are more expensive () but seem to be a bit more substantial IYKWIM.

I don't know why I am worried - he will happily live on dry toast and water at the moment!! He gets so excited and knicks it off the plate!! Simples ;)

Mfd, I have the blw book if you wanted a lend of it? I don't need it for a couple more months ;)

I will meet you for posh coffee the week commencing 14th Sep ;):D Thurs morning(ish) would be good for us :D

MM - we will try weetabix tomorrow - that would be easy enough to chuck in the case...do you think that they would mind me expressing at the breakfast table to make sure that the milk is still warm?

Jake used to have a full 8-9oz(sorry dont do mls!) feed every feed by the time he was 4-5month old, jasmine only has 7oz at the most, she doesnt normally finish the bottle, im not sure that wil increase much now im weaning her either?
  • I posted this morning and it's pages ago :rotfl:

I can't go all the way back, sorry :o I started, saw a question I could answer and have forgotten the question :o

Girls enjoyed being back at school, although were also happy to be home. 16yo enjoyed her first day at work. Only has to work 4 hours on Tuesday's, Thursday's and alternate Saturday's and her part time college courses start in 2 weeks on Monday's and Friday's, so works out well. Will have to put Wednesday's aside, so we can do something together when the others are at school, although all her work/college is mornings, so when she returns, we have a little time before school run on other days too

Felt strange today for a few hours....just me :(

Hope everyone had a good day. Sorry if I missed anything, i'm tired. No more 1am's on here when the school run is next day :o

    Hiya! :hello:

I haven't heard anything from TC either yet, paperwork wise. My claim was logged on 10th July and I got random money in my account about ten days ago, but still no paperwork..

I wonder how long until I get my claim forms. Not even claimed yet :o

Glad you got some money :D Spend wisely ;)
