Got woken up at 6.50am this morning with Charlotte ramming a book in my face and saying "Mammy read the one about the Ninky Nonk" - arrrgh :D
I just 'love' it when you get woken up by having a book slapped in your face as they try to climb over you with it :p

Does Ed seem really uncomfy on the days he doesn't go? I guess it doesn't bother him too much at night, as I know you said he's a good sleeper.
he usually has; happy day, grumpy day, day of many poos. rinse n repeat :p
Hope his jabs are OK today. They're horrible, aren't they :(
yes! I hate them! I have to take Chris with me today so I hope it doesn't scar him for life seeing his baby bro being jabbed :undecided

I haven't tried that since a few days after she was born and found it difficult, but that was quite probably new mum-tiredness-don't-know-what-I-was-doing syndrome, so will definitely be worth another go.
I find most things easier now he's a bit bigger and less floppy etc so do give it a whirl :)
I hate the poor grammar, spelling and layout of BB too!

Weezl - something you may be interested in, they will be discussing a new 'craze' on the wright stuff (CH5) in a bit where people get rid of all but 100 possessions excluding food.

Aww Chris is 'playing' with Edgar and I just heard him saying "I love you too Edgar" :D ed is also now about a foot further away from me coz he's been shuftying up :p

    I think so too :-)

Breat shells, make sure they're the right way up when you put them on to prevent spillage! Also don't bend over when you've got them on! I've never done either... honest... :o

BF'ers can being engorged lead to mastitis? I have a patch of soreness that feels like my skin is sun burnt but it's not red *obviously I'm going to as a profesional when I'm at the surgery later I'm just wondering at the mo*

Sami, I think Celia has a thing for Ed, she keeps saying Edgar randomly!

I had a horrendous nights sleep last night. She finally let me go to bed at 12.20, (I got to sleep around oneish) then was up at 2.20 then I finally got back to bed and to sleep around 5.30, up for the day at 7.50 *yawn* She seems to be rather constipated at the moment so I think that's what's causing it.

I think I need to open a commune for new mothers where they can shut out the world and BF in bed for 24 hrs if they want or just be on their own without distractions with their baby whilst all their meals are made and brought to them.

My lovely OH made me do this for a few days a week for a few weeks after Aaron was born, I lurrrrrrrrrrve him! He brought me up all food and drinks I wanted and making sure I was having enough for the breastfeeding, and told anyone that wanted to come and visit that no they couldn't come as I was resting. He'd come and take Aaron if he wouldn't settle for sleep (which was a LOT, he barely napped in the day for the first few weeks) so that I could sleep and then bring him back when I was ready.

I did feel bad at first as I couldn't get used to asking him to move the curtain over as the sun was shining on me too much, or to bring me something, or to do this or that for me... but I got used to it *sigh*.

I'll put the feelers out to see if he'll do this for other new mums too lol.

.. Oh thank you :). I agree with the watching the bottle thing. If I watch it, it is really slow to come out but chatting on here makes much more come out!

And playing Tetris makes you completely forget about it and the pot overflow.. as my sofa can testify! :( (it was a 50ml pot, before anyone gets excited!)
.. Clinic and Coffee today, then house work :(

Yay! Enjoy your morning :) xx

 Knew there was a reason for doing it at the weekend :(

Rhys is lying on the change mat now, making donkey noises and general babbling

Jabs are at 16wks as well, aren't they? That's next week for us and we haven't received a letter yet. Trying to get through to the GP surgery the morning after a BH is going to be murder!

I had a marathon baking session yesterday, trying to get back to OS. I forgot to put the sugar in the carrot muffins so i then decided to make a carrot cake as i still had quite a few carrots left. I like making the muffuns as i can pack them individually in the freezer and just defrost as necessary for packed lunches etc. Not sure how i'll do that with the cake tho ( might just have to eat it all ) Its huge!!

You could cut it up, and freeze the slices individually (or cut it into quarters, then you can get a chunk out every so often)... I like the gobbling it all up now plan too though ;)

Weezl - you could try yoghurt mixed with the fruit purees, rather than just fruit maybe? Everyone else has already suggested things I was going to (avocaddo etc)... you could try those nut butters on bread when you get to six months too? Oh - strangely I find Izzy eats more when she is holding/playing with something. I used to just give her the lid to her food pot to chew on, but now I give her finger foods to play with, and shovel purees in when I get the chance in between ;) And do you offer baby a drink every so often between mouthfulls? Sometimes if Izzy won't eat any more and I offer her a sip of drink she will then keep going - seems to be that sometimes she is just getting a dry mouth?

Izzy is with my Mum today so I can get-stuff-done. We've been up since 5:45 so one of the things I get done might be sleep. I'm feeling a bit hormonal and missing her today - maybe because I know it's not long till she starts nursery and I start work? Next week I'm not going to send her to my Mum for the day (we started off with a morning a week and have been building up to get her used to not being with me and to give me a bit of time to concentrate on cleaning the bathroom, or whatever!), as we have 3 taster sessions at nursery together, and the week after she starts nursery properly and the week after I go back to work, so after today I'm going to be selfish and keep her all to myself. Well, we will probably go to my Mum for lunch at some point next week, but I'm going to damnit!

Anyway, I have another application form to fill out, a bathroom to clean, a house to hoover, washing up to do and a fridge to degunge. So I'd best get a move on!

I think not emptying your boobs completely can lead to mastitis.. which I guess kinda amounts to the same thing  ETA: Could it be a blocked duct? I think I had a blocked duct several times but never mastitis due to using the pump so I can see when there's nothing left iyswim. Try hot flannels on the sore patch or hot bath/shower and generally massaging it if you can bear it (I used to take paracetamol before I did it cos I'm a wimp!)
