My fresh milk is good for the full 8 days, so probably don't have a problem? I'll defrost a cube and see. I've never tasted my own milk, so perhaps I should just drink it!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0

Morning all
feelie, samis right, the idea of someone elses milk for Dylan was just beyond comprehension to me. I would be really offended if someone offered me breastmilk to give to my child if I was set on FF too. Sorry if that is not what you want to hear, but that to me is the height of ''youre not doing the best for your child'' and the friendship would end rather quickly !!
ETA - I am not saying that you are doing that BTW, just that is how I would perseeve it IYSWIMThe two best things I have done with my life

I do the same Sami, I did drink a couple of oz when Aimee was a baby just because I didn't want to throw it away... Wasn't keen really... Still have a notion to make a cup of tea with it... I've ditched loads down the sink in the last couple of months... Caitlyn just won't have it any way other than the source... Don't know why I didn't think to smuggle it to Aimee... Might get some crusha inA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... MM i BF but if i had problems like i did with Charlie then i think i would have been offended being offered milk from someone else, not sure why but if i couldnt feed my baby then i would/have used formula. I dont think my OH would have liked the idea either, it took him a while to get use to me BF.
Erin has not stopped today she is rolling over and over turning around up on her knees then spots something else and rolls again lol!
Sami i thought eds singing was greatWhat's for you won't go past you0 -
I knew eating peanuts in pregnancy was okay. I always thought that was stupid advice, surely if you are eating peanuts it's going to give your unborn child some sort of immunity too it?
I craved salty peanuts and OH wouldn't let me have any because of what the midwife said. I'm gonna find her and give her a telling off, making me suffer at Xmas, bad enough you can't drink, but can't even eat the peanuts at the partys....boo!0 -
Buttons, I craved snickers the whole time I was pregnant with Aimee... Just ate them when I was pregnant with Caitlyn...
Feely, if I couldn't feed my own children myself I would rather give them someone elses milk than formula... Just to add my feelings... If your friend is the kind of person you can approach about this sort of thing then you should just offer her the choice...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Mormning (just!) all. We've been busy having a row, tidying the shed and sitting in a traffic jam. Have deposited DH in town, where he has managed to haggle a £40 phone down to £10. (old one was on its last legs, then he threw it across the room and now it has no legs left at all ... I would make a bigger deal of this if we didn't need a new one anyway!)
Were rowimng because we have no money, but I go back to work in a few weeks... just have to wait till end of September for me to actually be paid! Need ro call tax credits people today (are they open Saturdays?) to find out how much I will get towards childcare. I'm going to be taking home about £800 a month, childcare is about £430 a month, and DH earns about £400 less a month than our bills and food/petrol money, so I'm hoping we will get at least half of it as tax credits. I need a crossing fingers icon. I might be putting shoes on ebay later or something. I never go anywhere to wear fancy shoes these days anyway, so one pair of posh shoes and a few for kicking around in should be pleanty! How would you send shoes in the post if you don't have shoe boxes lying around?
Oh, and the washing machine has packed up. It is still under warranty, but it's just one thing I could have done without today. Especially on a bank holiday weekend. Will check the plug socket/fuse over the weekend and call out an engineer on Tuesday if that doesn't fix it. I forsee a few
trips to my Mums to get the washing done this week!

Oh, I knew I had something non-wjongy to say too - I recorded Izzy laughing on my phone yesterday and now it is my ring tone
Now if I get fed up when I go back to work I can ring myself to cheer myself up!
