Anyone elses baby smile as it goes to sleep? I don't remember Aimee doing it but Caitlyn has right from birth pretty much... Way before she could consciously smile anyway!
Benjamin does, always has done! And he laughs too! (when he hasn't got a mouthful of booby that is!) So sweet!

r.mac, the only thing you need to be careful of is that the hot water may not be boiled water IYKWIM and that is not to be used to make up a bottle. The two best things I have done with my life

Think hubby is trying to make a point that I talk loudly on the phone... He's watching State of Play... Turned the volume up twice... Then paused it until I'd finished (moaning about my nephew and the sofa to my Mum lol)
Ooh, I bought Caitlyn down after her feed (she was dropping off to sleep until someone came to talk to me and disturbed her :wall:) popped her on the play gym, she's been playing really happy, fidgeting around and is now dropping off to sleep with a dreamy smile... Lovely!

MFD - we go 5th sept. The passport application only went today
That's amazing flights. Our ryanair to malta are more than that!!!!! We looked at the gulf coast, but couldn't find any scottish flights that were reasonable enough once you added a villa. A lot of the airlines have cut flights and whole routes this season and Scotland has suffered somewhat. We don't mind flying a fair distance, but not if we had to drive a fair way to an airport first - that might be a tad too much for her (or rather her daddy)
They sound a great idea - if it were me I'd go for itr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -

Are things a bit less strict for an older baby?

Ooo - cutting it fine on the passport! Did you do check and send?
I doubt we will - DSS has gone to Egypt today and won't get back until the Sat after the Friday flights. It would be a long time not to see him...especially when he starts a new big school soon...
We'll see how it all ties in once Benjamins passport comes back.
