I don't know about the flight thing, but wanted to say well done on not doing the housework! I've been putting my feet up more during elliot's naps lately, instead of rushing around

thank you - I'm a bit of a clean freak sometimes and trying to let go a little bit
The world won't stop if my house isn't pristine according to hubby
Depends from which airport and with which airline you're going..
oh great - off to Malta from Edinburgh with ryanair. I wish I had an mse cheap flight to tell you about but we had no choice of airline....you will have to have the milk made up in the bottles (and taste all of them in front of security - bleugh!) thankfully my FIL is weird and tasted Chris's so I didn't have to
argh - right. How on earth am I going to fit all those in my bag? Might have to buy some more bottles as we only have 4.

Ok sami beat me to it. Could you not buy cartons of formula?
This would be my prefered method, but the liquid limit means you can only take a 100ml or less container and the formula cartons vary from 200ml to 250ml depending on brand.

thanks - I have some disposable bottles. I suppose I could make them up before we go and just throw them away as we use them so they take up less and less room. I would also take two of my reusable bottles.
Just a thought: if there was a boots/chemist/shop selling formula once I went through from landside to airside, would I be able to purchase ready made cartons there.....
why have I not paid more attention to these things when previously flying:rotfl:

You are allowed to take baby food, baby milk and sterilised water in your hand baggage. This includes:- soya milk for babies
- sterilised water for the baby (must be in a baby bottle)
- formula, breast milk or cow milk specifically for babies

Ok not sure how the powder would work but could you not just take bottles of water and make the feed up so all your made to taste is the water? But not sure what the score would be with the powder IKSWIM?Everyone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070
