thanks - I have some disposable bottles. I suppose I could make them up before we go and just throw them away as we use them so they take up less and less room. I would also take two of my reusable bottles.

Just a thought: if there was a boots/chemist/shop selling formula once I went through from landside to airside, would I be able to purchase ready made cartons there...
    ..

why have I not paid more attention to these things when previously flying:rotfl:
yes but no garuntee they have the 'right' one

Good idea! :D Do you use a common brand? If it's something special, phone the Boots branch and check they have it in before you go. Everything airside has already been checked, supposedly.

Glam used to dream about me having a nicer house than her and she didnt like me :(

    Did I?!!

I had a dream that Sami had triplets last week!
Ah ok, I was due to be induced at 38 weeks but went 2 days before my induction date!!
Lol were (mostly) all guilty of leaving things to the last minute!!!

    Oh - let's hope so!!!
Week 37 will involve lots of jiggy, boucning on swiss ball and other nonsense to try and get this baby out of his own accord! :rotfl:

Teething - happened agian here and that's 2 nights of crying in her sleep, ending up in our bed and tossing and turning all night so we don't get any sleep  Not much seems to help and HV is out of ideas. I have everything under the sun to try and help, and just keeping trying them in rotation until one helps:rotfl:She's having a nap now (thankfully).

    hi r.mac,

seems our girls are following each other in terms of sleeping/teething :D

on the teething front, i have bought some dentinox teething gel as it can be applied every 20 mins or so which is useful when we are out and about in town which is most days. i have also bought the children's nurofen as calpol never seemed to do much for my little one. i had to give her some of the nurofen last night but only after i had tried everything else to comfort her. it was my HV that suggested carrying some sachets of calpol/nurofen if we are out and about.

we are also moving to two meals a day to see if the sleeping improves. we had a good week of sleep after introducing solids at night at a regular time, but this went out of the window when the teething started again.

    xx

  • Now ya tell me! LOL hang on to them for a while, you might find them better when your supply slows down...

I'm stuck upstairs feeding the baby now... I'm being mean and making her lie to the right though... Just lay here with my nipple in her ear until she got the message and turned her head...

    You made me snort

Hubby is away tonight - and baby is in bed (how nice is that feeling when it's all quiet?!) I've decided NOT to do the housework, although will regret that decision tomorrow I know.

So this evenings questions is - how on earth do I carry Formula powder/water/ready made milk etc on a flight? Leaving the house about 1pm and not reaching villa at the other end until about 11pm so will need will need to have at least 4 feeds with me - if not 5 to be on the safe side.

I would buy some more bottles because you don't want to be sterilising as soon as you get there.
Was gonna suggest that Boots might do it in the airport
Post on the travel board here - somebody will know something! I have never had a problem yet which couldn't be solved by somebody on MSE :D

Did you buy the liquid Anbesol? It really is worth a try. I find that the gels just end up in a ball rolling about their mouth. The Anbesol goes where I want it to go IYSWIM

I know that feeling - Benjamin generally ignores me if I have been out for a while...he literally won't look at me the cheeky little monster  Daddy gets big smiles and chuckling!

must have missed what 'anbesol' is....off too google now praying that it can help me :D
