I haven't had a good start to the day. I've got to the stage where I feel constantly critiscised by DH. I'm not sure how much that is the case, and how much i'm just hearing it wrong. However, that doesn't change the way I see it and I can't get him to understand how he's making me feel. I have no idea how to make him listen -talking hasn't and my tantrum and tears had even less of an effect. I just felt like a naughty toddler and he still couldn't hear what I was saying. I don't like being me right now.

They are also very routine and CIO type Mothers. I'm glad I've got my other Mummy friend, with her late weaning, breastfeeding, baby wearing and no routine thing to talk to!
What are CIO? I'm completely different to everyone I know IRL. I used cloth nappies, did EC, didn't start weaning till 7 months, did BLW, used a sling, am still breastfeeding and had a routine from 10 days. Apart from breastfeeding (and one person who breastfed one of her children for 18months), everyone I know does/did the complete opposite. Fortunately I'm one of those people who isn't bothered about doing things differently to everyone else.
I'm actually a bit worried about affording Xmas for everyone this year, last year OH's company hadn't been affected by the CC, but now it has, OT has stopped which has seen us loose £300 PM, I went from £50 a week tax credits to £10, so almost £500 a month we are down (I got more from TC because it's based on the year befores amount and OH had a pap job at the council then!) and also, OH was getting his production bonus', which is supposed to be quarterly, and it's 10% of your annual wage, spread over 4 payments, so we were getting about £700 from that and it usually came just before Xmas PLUS with the £250 Xmas bonus from the company AND the £150 safety bonus (which thankfully he still gets, every 3months if no-one has chopped a finger off) so we are loosing A LOT of money right now! They were SUPPOSED to get the production bonus this month, but some !!!! offshore just had to go and drop two of their expensive tools down a blimmin' oil well, so bye bye my moulah!
    £300x12=£3600
    +£700
    +£250
    £4550
If he is earning that much less this year than last year, they should be able to increase your tax credits. You should be able to phone them and explain that he is getting less and give an estimate for this year. (Obviously it's best to over rather than underestimate so that you don't end up with an overpayment again.)

Cry It Out. I'm the complete opposite of, I don't like Cry It Out or Controlled Crying. I do everything I can to prevent LO crying, I don't think it is good for him :o

I wish I was in tune enough to do EC. Although LO is with me almost all the time , I still can't pick up on his cues enough. I'm sure they are there, but I miss them!

How does a routine work with breastfeeding/BLW and things? Is it easy to stick to a routine? Were you/are you quite flexible? We have no set bedtime, bathtime or food time.

I did thank you - twas my daddys 65th birthday :D

Benjamin and I stayed there til half 7 in the hope that Benjamin would sleep all the way home. He didn't :(

He spent 1 hour 45 minutes sobbing his heart out. I kept stopping the car in lay-bys to try to calm him and he stopped crying whilst I was stood by his car door...only to start again as soon as we set off again. He absolutely broke my heart.

Not sure I will be able to catch up TBH. I need to sort out house insurance and travel insurance and find us a holiday :o
