I agree about baby food though. We never used it.

r.mac 2 sheets of bounty or good brand kitchen paper torn off but the 2 sheets still atached to each other, then folded in half into a big triangle shape, with the long edge tied at the corners around little one's neck like a cowboy bandana. This has worked well at a few friends house as a makeshift disposable bib.

    HTH :)

Benjamin has been an angel all the way around the shops :D he was particularly cute in Primark when he was twisting his head around to look at a spotty teenage boy that he had taken a liking to - giving the boy big smiles and shouting 'ey' at him over and over :rotfl:The poor boy didn't know where to put himself, it is clearly not cool to be talking to babies but he couldn't ignore the fact that Benjamin was clearly shouting and smiling just at him :D
That's my boy  he is just like his mother.
    Flirting with teenage boys? :p

question: anyone used disposable bibs before? Wondering about how to keep luggage as light as possible and wondered if these would be an option. I don't fancy spending my holiday doing loads and loads of washing!

    Anyone any other tips?
I have used them, they're not very absorbent and I found get in the way a bit as they're stiff. The fairies have some going spare if you want to try before you buy? :)

Don't know if any one has suggested but what about the plastic ones similar to the painting ones for toddlers. I know they aren't for everyone, but on holiday i think they are great. just wipe them down and catch any liquid with a face cloth on the lap. you would only need one so money saving and space saving!

If going for disposable make sure it's the ones with the plastic back or they just end up like soggy kitchen roll:(

We definitely have real (if still rather inexpert) crawling going on now. We've had what one of the mums at the coffee morning last week called commando crawling for a while now, but this evening Izzy crawled into the kitchen to see what I was doing, decided I was boring, then crawled back out to the living room to find something more interesting to do :rotfl:

She is in bed already today, and seeing as DH isn't here, I'm watching what I want on tv ... except there isn't much on, but never mind. By the end of the week I will be missing him, but having one night of eating what I like for tea, and being able to use the remote control myself is quite a novelty ;)

Well done Izzy! The way you describe that is very odd and hard to imagine. Will I really have a crawling baby?! That is just too cute though, coming to find you!

I'm lonely, OH ans Mum are both MIA.

I bought a pack of plastic disposable bibs for Aimee... Still got most the packet somewhere, think I forgot to use them most the time...

Tia, yes your supply is more likely to be settling down than decreasing... If you get worried, best thing to do is keep putting her to the breast... Nothing ups your supply like a suckling babe :)

Mfd, isn't it funny when they take a shining to random people!! And LOL@baby camel toe!!!

Elle, brilliant news :D to echo tia, you are doing a fantastic job!

In fact, we're all doing a fantastic job!!!

r.mac another option is these I saw a cheaper bib somewhat 'inspired' by these in Asda near the baby spoons etc
