sleep, clean, express, farm, bejewel or just chat to us? :D

I've got seven pounds (will smith film) to watch here but I know I'll need quiet and it'll make me cry my eyes out so not sure when to watch

I didn't like seven pounds, I just didn't get it. Not watched any fulms for a while, OH is on at me to watch The Unborn but I really don't fancy it!

Toby had his first shower! Not tears, he just stared at me in a confused way, then smile when water ran under his chin!

My husband isn't here either :( I knew he was going somewhere but I get mixed up coz he's always going somewhere, turns out he's not back until friday night. I'd have made sure I gave him a cuddle and kiss this morning :(

    Awwww! (((hugs)))

Feely, Amber got her first bath at 2 weeks old! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Mummies of stinky babies unite! And no, she hasn't had one since... she'll be 3 weeks on Thursday. :o I top and tail her [STRIKE]most[/STRIKE] mornings. :rotfl:

I'm not feeling so neurotic about this breast feeding. It seems that I'm now producing milk as she is feeding (cos when she is feeding her mouth is dripping with the stuff) and she is nice and alert when she does wake up. But HV didn't show up this morning so I have no idea if she has put any weight on... might weigh her on teh wii fit later on.

I'm off for a shower, all sweaty and gross, but DH says the huge red area is getting better :D *runs off to take her antibiotic* Might even do some ironing later.

I've just walked almost the length of the passage down the side of the house (well, bungalow, so it's long) to get a parcel (new clothes :j) which a delivery person threw over the gate earlier. Almost got there then spotted a huge spider and ran all the way back! *shudder* :o

The monster still has a bit of a weird belly button so we've been told not to bathe her till it's clean and dry. She's three weeks old tomorrow and has only been washed with a wet flannel while the bits not being washed are hidden in a warm towel.

The belly button's approaching normal so soon I'll be able to break out the baby bath. I'm vaguely embarrassed, although she gets topped and tailed in the mornings and a flannel wash in the evening so it's not as though she's terribly disgusting. She does tend to flail in her own spit up though, so I'm not sure how clean she could be considered...

I did ask him earlier, but now he's - yup, you've guessed it - asleep on the sofa with Rhys
  • I just spoke to my Granny on her new mobile (she is in hospital, but she is allowed a mobile, so my parents got her one at the weekend so we can call her)... I could hear the nurses teasing her about it in the background. They were about to get her dressed, so they were saying "oh, get her gabbing away on the mobile phone at the age of 89!". :rotfl:

I'm watching Carribean cookery programme on BBC2... Very interesting, but i might need some more tea. It all sounds very tasty.
